I liked the graciousness of the staff I encountered, the kitchenette we opted to pay extra to include in our room, and the hotel's great location. I didn't like that the lobby is under renovation, but we got no discount that I could see on that basis (no real lobby, more like a small bus terminal type of room on the second floor). Also, we weren't informed of the construction being done during our stay until several days before we arrived, although the management was surely aware of it long before our stay. I do think the hotel will be wonderful when the renovations are complete.

The room was sparkling clean, and the staff were all lovely. The bar doesn’t open until 4:30 pm, which was extremely odd for vacationers who are not stuck on a work schedule. The only real complaint was that the room is extremely cold-feeling: Everything is white metal or plastic—every single surface except the bed was hard and sharp cornered and chilly. The opposite of cozy or comfortable. It was very nice! Just not cozy.

"Upon arrival at 1:30pm, the pool had not been cleaned. The server/ wait staff took too long to acknowledge their guests. They all disappeared into the kitchen. The tv in the room did not work - problems with the internet. Only amenity in the bathroom was a trial size bar of soap. Definitely not staying ..."
