They charge me extra for providing a king size bed. My reservation had it included but the hotel said that it was a mistake by expedia and that they dont advertise king beds.They charge extra. I ended up paying out of pocket 100.00 dollars for the 5 days I was there.I'll never go back to this Hotel.

The hotel is ok, spacious room, location is ok,..but breakfast incl in price is weird. No toast and no hot tea include, have to pay extra for this. The bathroom smells because of the drain

It was a nice surprise. Did not expect to be so pleased as it was merely a one night stop in Valladolid to do some sightseeing around on my way to Chichen-Itzá. Clean sheets, nice towels and our room had to medium beds. We were two adults and two children. We had hot water and there was a kitchenet. If you plan to cook you do need to bring in your pans. The provide you with cutlery and some glasses and cups. Continental breakfast was Ok and it is served in the pool area.

Wow, this hotel was amazing! Lovely room, very clean! The staff really made this stay special for us, they were so attentive and helpful. We would love to stay again. The restaurant for breakfast was amazing too and the food was great. The pool was very beautiful too. Thank you hotel & country suites ♥️

We loved that the staff were very nice. The housekeeping staff keep things spotless. The breakfast included was a healthy start to your day. The pool area was lovely, tge front desk staff were very nice. Carlos our breakfast waiter is a treasure. If you can't spesk spanish he can talk to you in english...

Tale of two hotels
The Hotel and Suites Country has 2 locations located across the street from each other. There is an older section which includes the reception desk, parking lot, and older rooms. Then a new building across the street with a restaurant, swimming pool, and new facilities. My stay was for one night and we were put in the older building. I was able to park my car in the lot but we arrived around 2:30 pm. I noticed the lot filled up quickly and guests arriving after 6 were out of luck and had to find street parking. The older building is going under renovations/remodeling. Construction noise starts around 8am and lasts until 4 or 5. The outside of the older building looks nice and freshly painted. Inside my room it was very dated. The bathroom reminded me so much of the locker room from my junior high school in the 1970's. Had a very small kitchen but a decent size room. The room was noisy due to being close to the road and some neighboring rooms packed with 4 or 5 people. Swimming pool is gorgeous and clean. Free breakfast is fruit, yogurt, granola, and coffee or juice. Small but adequate, you can order more off the menu. Staff was very pleasant. Carlos our waiter at breakfast was amazing. My advice if you are going to say here is make sure you are reserved in the new building or wait until the remodeling is done on the older building. My stay was in November 2021.

Nice hotel but go for the rooms in trr he r new block. My room was nice but was not a quiet one. People chatting in the car park. Cockerel and dogs very morning. I would stay again but only in the new block across the street.

This was our second stay at this hotel. Renovations/construction is occurring currently as they continue to improve the property. A small breakfast restaurant was added since our last visit. It is located adjacent to the pool. We stayed in the tower across the street where the restaurant and pool are located. It’s important for guests to know that there is no elevator and I only observed 1 room in the ground floor. Our room was clean and it contained both a fridge and microwave. The shower was spacious and sleek with tile and a glass wall. I cannot say enough nice things about the staff. They were very kind and professional, making us feel quite welcome. The location of this hotel is a few blocks from the city center. An easy walk. The hotel is a great value and we will definitely stay there upon return to the great city of Vallodolid!

The rooms were all unique. The hot water heater did take some time to get the water hot so plan ahead. The roosters in the area did not understand that they are only to crow when the sun comes up.

Great hotel but under construction
Very nice hotel with a beautiful pool and rooms but they are currently going through construction on one of their properties with a lot of concrete dust so you could taste it in the air and it left a fine coating on everything. Not sure how safe it is. However it is a great place close to the city center and the staff were excellent. I would definitely book here again once the construction is completed which I'm sure won't take long as they build fast.

This is one of the best hotels in Valladolid and in the center of town, so everything is in walking distance. I had a water leak in my room, so I had the inconvenience of my room flooding out. The staff was very attentive in coming to repair the problem and mopping it out; but by then I was already checking out, thank goodness. However, that aside, I will still stay at this hotel when I next travel to Valladolid.

Great staff, very clean!
Staff was very friendly! There are 2 parts! We were in the old part! The bed was small for 2 people. There was an awful smell coming from the bathroom and the water pressure in the shower was not to great. If you book here make sure you have a room in the new section by the pool. But it was a clean hotel!

Wonderful stay in Valladolid
We had a beautiful big suite overlooking the pool in the new building. There are 3 buildings - 2 across the street from the pool with lovely updated rooms as well. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Angel and Mercedes helped us order pizza on phone which we would never have been able to do without Spanish. We loved our 5 day stay!!!!

Nice, modern hotel with small drawback
Very nice hotel, clean rooms, and nice pool. Beware that it is located on a slightly tight road just blocks away from the city center. The only downside of the hotel is that they have multiple towers. If your room happens to be located in a tower across the street from the reception office, you'll have to wear a paper wristband for the duration of your stay. It's reminiscent to a wristband you'd get when you go to a rock concert. This helps them identify guests who are staying with the hotel.

Nice but they could do better...
The part of the hotel we were in was across the street from the main part of the hotel. It has VERY recently been completed and, in fact, is still partly under construction. Our room wasn't what we had selected and we ended in what they say was a more expensive room...it had two double beds vs. one queen which we had selected. Not a hill to die on...but the beds were very hard. We managed to sleep ok but they were far from what one would expect. The pool area was AWESOME though...very clean...no one there and just lovely. Soft music was piped in after our first day and we enjoyed the pool several times during our stay. It was particularly ambient at night with the lights on around the area and multi-colored LED lights in the pool itself. In our room, though, we did not have hot water as the tank under the sink had the valve turned off. As well, the main breaker for it (I assume) that was in the bathoom was in the off position. Wasn't even sure what that breaker was for but assume it was for the tank but even though we flipped it on, unsure it was operational as we never tried the hot water after that. As well, with the room being brand new, unsure anyone else had ever stayed in it...neither the fridge nor the microwave were plugged in but worked fine once I did that.

Part of the hotel is in construction, with a beautiful and modern design, which might not be to nice to look at. But once in the room, they are beautiful and the pool area is just like the picture! We checked in later than 9:00pm and it was extremely easy! No additional payments or hassles. Like three-four blocks away from the plaza central and many nice restaurants.

We arrived around 10:30pm and the checkin desk was still open to check us in and show us to our room. They were very nice and welcoming. They even created a new parking spot for us since the parking lot was already full. The room was simple but perfect. We had a mini kitchen with a stove and refrigerator. It was a great deal for a last minute booking that we did.

The property is expanding. They have a beautiful pool area that is perfect for families. This hotel is staffed with friendly staff that make you feel truly welcomed and at home. I highly recommend this hotel to others. The price does not reflect its true value.

This is our 3rd stay in Valladolid, and the best hotel we have stayed in. It is newly remodeled and nicely done . Short walk to the main plaza. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to help me find the post office. They were very patient with my lack of Spanish language skills. Thank you

There was a small room in our room where you could wash clothes. There was an access from the outside into this room and where someone could look in. My husband used towels and our luggage to block this. It was creepy.

We has a smooth check in experience, the room was ready and clean. There was a TV(99% spanish channels) and air conditioner, a dining table and a kitchen with a good amount of utensils. The rooms were priced well and there was plenty of parking. the staff was helpful and it had plenty of choices to eat nearby The only drawbacks were: the internet was very poor and we had some mosquitoes that bothered us in the room.

Comfortable but no pots/pans, dishwasing soap, etc
Bed was very confortable, but there weren't enough kitchen supplies. We booked this room so we can take advantage of the kitchennette, but couldn't because we did not have any pots or pans we could use! The led lights they use in their recess lighting were also uninviting. Other than that we were very comfortable with the beds, and location was great!

I would stay here again if there were no vacancies that were closer to El Centro. The facade of the 3 buildings is really nice. I'm sure at one time the rooms were really nice but the bathroom and kitchen were showing signs of wear and tear. The bed was harder than I like so didn't have a good night's sleep. I know Mexicans have a thing about toilet paper but there was no spare roll left in the bathroom. The staff do not speak any English so you should know some Español. There weren't restaurants nearby so to speak so for a real choice you have to walk to El Centro. It wasn't a horrible place but I definitely would look for other places first.
