Staff was very helpful for us. Room was adequate. Slightly noisy at morning time. Extremely convenient location adjacent to Dam Sqare.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Amsterdam. The room that we had was well appointed and we particularly loved the bathroom and comfortable bed. Although we did not use the restaurant on site, it looked warm and inviting. However, I will say that the menu needed a few more vegan options to get us interested versus other places nearby. Small notes: ~ the bathroom needed a toilet brush ~ the steps coming in will be an issue for some with heavy cases/children etc ~ the bedroom could do with a recycle bin Finally, we absolutely loved walking the city. The ONLY thing I will say is that the City itself needs to address is the trash and cigarette butt situation as it is out of control! Much love and thank you! Grant

The July — Boat & Co. is a beautiful property. The staff are helpful and professional. The room is large, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, cutlery, and even cookbooks! A bottle of bubbles and samples of butter cake greeted us upon our arrival, as well as, a lovely note from the hotel staff. The room had a speaker to which you could connect and a stack of books. The July is close enough to everything while being far enough removed from the major tourist areas. Easy access to transit. Easy access to trains. Vessel, the onsite restaurant, has delicious food. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and drinks are all fabulous. Outdoor dining on a beautiful day is a must. There are other great pubs, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance. There are grocery stores close by if you have booked a room with a kitchen and you plan to use it. The views over the water were tranquil. The room was incredibly quiet. There is a wellness centre and a barber on site. We found our stay here incredibly relaxing and had we not wanted to venture out, we could have easily and happily stayed here the whole three days doing absolutely nothing other than using the wellness centre and dining at Vessel — and would have felt truly pampered in doing so. Should we have the opportunity to return to Amsterdam, we would not hesitate to stay at The July again. It was a terrific stay, which was made even better by exceptional staff; they were superb.
