Breda Centrum Holidays from AU$464

I had stayed in a Social Hub in Madrid and found it to be an excellent alternative to main stream hotels. The one in Amsterdam was not the case. The location for this hotel is not very good. We were assigned a handicap accessible room without requiring nor requesting one. They did change our room but unfortunately the air conditioning in that room did not work. When I enquired at the desk I was told that none of the rooms had air conditioning because it was illegal in Europe to have AC. This is of course false. The rooms were climate controlled except our room was about 25-28 degrees even though the thermostat was set to 18. They said they would send someone but never did. We survived by opening the window and luckily the fall weather kept the room comfortable for sleeping. We did not spend any daytime hours in the room. Overall, for the money we paid, we could have had a much better hotel room, closer to the city centre and in a safer, more friendlier area. I do not recommend staying at this location.

Love love love this place. Whether you’re hosting a work retreat, need a break from the bustle, or on holiday like me, this Social Hub has something for everyone. Modern ambiance and vibes for days. The DJs on weekend nights have excellent taste in records The staff is stellar. Thank the interior decorator too. I will be coming back with friends.

High points - fantastic staff including Sebastian at reception and the other gentleman who organized the cleaning. They were both super helpful and attentive to our needs! The hotel was also in a terrific central location. We had read some dismal reviews but that was not our experience at all! Needs more attention - the majority of the room was very clean but some areas of the room could use a good deep clean like the window seat areas and the common area carpets. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The staff was very attentive and helpful. The hotel itself is very cool with fun interior design.

Staff were helpful and friendly, great location minutes to train, tram and bus. For us shower was difficult to adjust and not much pressure. Bigger issue was inadequate lighting in kitchen which made cooking more burdensome. Overall very satisfied.
