"The hotel is situated in the centre of Tavira on the river front and just opposite the ferry to Tavira Island. Lots of good restaurants close by. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, however my bathroom and shower was a little small, but this was only a small issue. The breakfast was good and provided a good start to the day."

"We enjoyed our 3-night stay at the resort. The check-in was seamless and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend renting a vehicle, as the resort is quite aways from dining (other than resort options). Parking in the outside parking lot was free, as well as street parking. Parking underground was 12 euros per night. In October, we had no trouble finding a spot outside. The room was in the smaller side, but neat, clean and comfortable. Yes, there were a few ants in the bathroom, but it was understandable given the somewhat remote location close to nature. I would recommend bringing insect repellant, even in October, if you plan to eat outside in the evenings. The breakfasts were pretty good, with lots of options. We had the dinner buffet the first night for 29 euros per person - but for every other lunch and dinner, we went into Tavira or Faro. There were much better options with 4.8/5.0 reviews on google that were tastier and less expensive. If you have a choice, eat outside the resort. That being said, we would definitely stay here again. We did the yoga and the paddle boarding and enjoyed both activities. The yoga was very basic and certainly no comparison to yoga in any major North American city, but the beach was lovely. The paddleboards were the inflatable kind but I got the opportunity to work on my balance and their drag made sure I got a workout in. The resort is comparable to a 4.5 star resort in Mexico."
