We had a wonderful stay in Valdez. The home had plenty of space for the 5 of us to spread out yet had a very cozy, homey feel. We enjoyed the den and outdoor spaces, especially the rasberry bushes. Conveniently located to the port as well as local hiking trails.
My daughter and I really enjoyed staying here - a very comfortable, large home in a nice private location outside of, but convenient to downtown Valdez. Really pleasant and relaxing living room, full kitchen, great laundry facilities, plenty of parking, comfortable beds - exactly what we were looking for.
Very comfortable home in a quiet area! The living room was great for chilling after a long day. We liked that the bedrooms were separate from each other and each had a bath. Good communication with host.
Loved this house! Perfect location, close to town but not in town & private. House was very clean, roomy & had everything we needed. We would stay here again.
House was spacious warm, very clean. Had everything we needed. Beds were comfy, I wish the weather had been dryer I ’d would have like to have a bonfire in the pit. Really beautiful home.
We spent two nights here after several days of camping in Wrangell St. Elias and Glen Allen. This was a perfect place to recharge- the house was very comfortable, with everything we needed and plenty of space for our family of four to relax. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils. Bed & bath linens were lovely. Deanna kindly checked in after our first night, and made a couple of recommendations for the remainder of our time.We wished we could have stayed for longer!
The house was larger than what the pictures show. The kitchen was fun to cook in. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The communication with the hosts was prompt and friendly. We would stay here again!
The home was beautiful and well thought out. It was extremely clean and had a check in book with way more information than the internet did. The host wss beyond accomadating and communicative. Would be my first choice to stay when visiting Valdez
Very nice people to work with, and nice place to stay a few days while we explored the area.
Accommodations are perfect for 4 adults and two children, with plenty of towels/washcloths and bedding. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need, as well as spices and other food items. A large washer and dryer were also a huge blessing for us.
otsupplies. Large washer and dryer were
Especially for people who come fishing. There is a big freezer. No worries about the fish.
Saved money on ice!
It’s been so helpful. We are looking forward to come again next year
Pretty much sits on its own cul-de-sac, good privacy. Very clean, like next level clean. Very nice place with a good floor plan. The hosts are quick to respond and provide excellent details for your experience. Not to be alarming, but enjoyable, saw one bear each day. I highly recommend this place.
This property is just outside of downtown anchorage. Easy in and out. Comfortable seating in den. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds. Cool outside fire pit with firewood supplied on site. We did use the pellet fireplace inside because the weather was perfect for outside.
Beautiful home situated by itself in a quiet cul-de-sac. Excellent views of the mountains from the windows. Very nice porch with comfortable chairs to enjoy the evenings. Host has everything you need for an enjoyable stay including little things such as Citronella candles.
Host has also prepared an excellent binder with things to do, restaurants etc. Hosts were very responsive to our questions & gave us other suggestions of things to do. Highly recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay it was a little ways out of town so we didn't have neighbors right on top of Us. They had the biggest mud room I'd ever seen nice washer and dryer freezer. It was very well stocked and extremely clean. We had 2 eagles that joined us every evening. We had one black bear walk through the yard 1 morning looking for berries he just kept walking through, It was a pleasant surprise. Fresh berries in the yard if you get them before the birds do.. Overall we would stay there again. Great super great communication from the host thank you
We found the home easily following the directions given. It is spacious and clean. There were plenty of supplies--towels, soaps, dishes, utensils, etc. We appreciated the double handrails on the stairway, however, some of our party had to grab the wall for support on the last 2 stairs after the landing. We appreciated the notebook that outlined our responsibilities and listed local sites of interest. We had 5 senior citizens (age range 70-87). This is a do-again location.
