"This is the most lovely place in the French Pyrenees Basque country and excellent choice for staying just outside of St.-Jean-Pied-de-Port. I felt so welcomed, comfortable and relaxed. I loved hearing the sound of the river from my room. Gorgeously decorated and appointed. Marie-Flore & Bapstiste are the owners who are very kind, vibrant and available. As a solo explorer, this was a jewel of a find for me. I also enjoyed meeting a pilgrim of the Camino who was taking her one-night rest here....

"Extraordinary boutique hotel. We had a delightful stay. The owners show you to your room, are there every day, and offer good sight-seeing and restaurant advice. The room, like all the decor, is lovely, the beds are comfy, and the table on the balcony is great for coffee. There is a coffee maker, minifridge and an individual air conditioning unit that makes any heat wave bearable. There is ample closet space and the bathroom modern with attractive lighting. If you want to eat in, there is a communal microwave and one-pot meals available to heat up. The wi fi works great. It is a pet-friendly place: several dogs were there, including those of the owners. The only possible minus is that there is no elevator and the stairs are a bit steep. Excellent value."
