"This is a stunning place,beautifuly decorated and spacious, but still in keeping with the old stone houses found in the countryside,it has all that you would need for a comfortable stay,just to mention the bed was one of the most comfortable we have experienced on our tour.The property is totaly private from the main house, with ample easy parking. "The property was excellent and in a good location on the outskirts of Jarnac next to the river and a picnic area. It was a 20 minute walk into Jarnac along the riverside path. The property was in an excellent position to access the Flow Vélo with our bikes. The layout was all open plan and the French doors opened onto a covered seating area. The facilities were very good although the fridge only had a very small freezer compartment. It could maybe do with an information leaflet for the property...

"Ravis d’arriver sur ce lieu pour une pause d’une nuit sur la route de nos vacances.A notre arrivée, on nous annonce que le lieu est autosuffisant. J’ai relu l’annonce... ce n’est pas signalé. Il faut donc savoir qu’il n’y a pas de lave vaisselle pas de machine à laver le linge ou encore pas de micro onde car les panneaux solaires ne peuvent pas les alimenter.Il y a un petit refrigerateur réglé au minimum pour ne pas faire disjoncter l’électricité. Donc pas de freezer."

"We had a wonderful stay in Montignac-Charente. The apartment is a short walk to the town center and we enjoyed stopping in at the patisserie and the cafe. A full grocery store is a short drive away. Our dogs also loved long walks along the country roads beside fields filled with sunflowers. Our host met us when we arrived, kindly showed us how everything worked, and even gifted us some apple preserves that tasted fabulous on our morning croissants. There was more than enough room for the 4 of us...

"There's such detail in La Paranthese. Attention paid to every detail of your spa stay from hot tub to stream room to message room (we only used the hot tub). Jimmy and Dorothee (she helps tremendously with English) are awesome. We thoroughly loved our stay and walked to our favorite cognac maker. Please stay here. It is very modern but incredibly LOVE -ly."
