Sorry about that! Sometimes the sliding control (which opens or closes the flue, to control the rate of burning) gets a bit hard to budge. When we get a chance we'll look into getting a new stove. It's very cold on the mountain in winter, and it's a long corridor to bed and toilet ,which is why we bought the Dyson for the bedroom. It is very cramped up in the loft - we (the owners) sometimes have to fix damage to the ball catching nets. Personally I think we could do without the table altogether. We have not been able to get to our lodge for quite a few weeks, and certainly not in the near future under the current lockdown here in Sydney. There have been regular bookings all the weeks since your visit, and no problems reported, so it seems our management & cleaning team on the mountain has sorted it.
