"Hotel in a great location near the LIRR and airport. Unfortunately the area around the hotel and front lobby is a bit concerning at first glance - in need of some more maintenance and cleanup which likely raises many eyebrows about staying there. For me the staff was kind and the room was clean and refridgerator, air conditioner and tv all worked fine so I had no complaints after the initial concern. Think this could be a popular place to stay with a little more maintenance and appearance focus."

"Hyatt Regency Hotel was extremely clean and comfortable. The mattress and pillows were wonderful. The shower was perfect and the towels where soft and smelled so clean. This was my second stay this year and I plan on staying every time I'm on Long Island, New York and elsewhere. I decided to become a member of the Hyatt Global Loyalty program, which will give me lovely perks, including free breakfast (see additional perks on Google)."

"Very basic but you get what you pay for. It definitely is better than the reviews. I was worried based on the reviews staying for two nights being a solo female traveler but it wasn’t as bad as the reviews say. It’s definitely very basic and your typical drive up motel but it got the job done. I had a king, non-smoking room but still had a faint smell of smoke. The bed was decent and the pillows were extremely comfortable. Room was very small but fine as I was solo. Bathroom was barely elbow width apart but was clean. Honestly, can’t complain based on the price. Also, was very well lit outside. I was worried about it being too dark at night getting back late but was very well lit."

"My husband and I, along with our Golden, were on LI for three weeks. We spent our last seven days in this super clean updated apartment. It had everything we needed. The fenced yard was an extra perk, although we didn't get to truly utilize it due to weather and other activities. It's as inviting as the photos though. The dog, however, spent some time out there and loved it. We stayed in the bedroom right off the living room and it was comfy. Anderson is a terrific host. He's helpful and easy to communicate with. If we rent again on the Island, this will be our place. For those unfamiliar with the area, Patchogue Village on Main Street with restaurants, pizzeria, bagel place, a brewery, etc., is a stones throw. The Dublin Deck overlooking a marina is within walking distance and Corey Beach on the Great South Bay in Blue Point and the Fire Island Ferries are nearby."
