This was such a beautiful stay. We were so lucky to be given an upgrade by the staff and were surprised by a gorgeous upstairs room overlooking the square outside. I would absolutely stay here again.
Good location for walking around Utrecht. Very friendly staff. Slightly compact but very comfortable room. Elevator available for ease of getting luggage up to our room.
This is the second time I was staying in this pleasant little hotel. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive. This time, we were especially pleased that the hotel is pet friendly as we brought our little Jackrussell with us. Also, the staff’s situation awareness in fixing us a late check-out was remarkable. The fact that they don’t serve breakfast didn’t bother us as there are great bakeries and hipsters cafes nearby.
Very good clean rooms and very friendly and helpful service. The area nearby is quite lively late at night but the hotel has earplugs in the rooms if needed. Note there is no restaurant or breakfast room. There are good options nearby but you need to wait until after 9am at the weekend
The accommodation was simple, clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. NH Hotel is well positioned, very close to the centre of Utrecht which is great but if your room is at the front of the building, it can be noisy at night.
1 night stay in November. Easy walk to old town, lots of restaurants close by. Only complaint would be the noise level. Hotel construction in the day and the bar underneath at night (till quiet late). Perhaps that's why there is complimentary ear plugs?
Cordial and professional check in. The room was clean and comfortable.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Like many such NH hotels, it is based in a old, venerable renovated building, but with all the unique external features kept as they were. Try to get a room with a balcony, since the life in the square outside is always worth sitting and watching, and often entertaining (if you are travelling alone, I recommend Room 107...).
Property was easily walkable from the station. Close to lovely historic area and restaurants. Our room was well maintained and clean but quite small. The view from our room was terrible, all we could see was an air conditioning outlet and a wall. No view of the area
Enjoyed our stay at the NH Central hotel. The room was on the small side but perfectly adequate. The hotel is located about a 20 minute walk from the railway station and is close to Utrecht’s historic streets and canals. There are numerous restaurants, bars and cafes. The hotel does not provide breakfast but I would recommend either Cupp or Anne and Max which are a few minutes walk away. Would recommend Utrecht for a short stay about 3 days is ideal.

Great Location
Quick trip with a Dutch friend to Utrecht. Hotel is in a great location near all of the bars/restaurants but still peaceful.
It's a beautiful old building but has been modernised so that not much of the 'old' is evident. Rooms are very comfortable.
Only drawback is the reception area is really small and gets very crowded at check in/check out times and there is nowhere to sit if you want to get any work done. There are two restaurants in the same building but independent from the hotel. Would stay there again.
