"Darling home! Very comfortable, clean and felt very safe. This was important with just females staying in the house. Loved the pie shop down the street and how close it was to Cherry St and Utica Square. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again."

"This property doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside is charming. Very close to the West side of Tulsa University's campus. I actually stayed in the TU themed room. Clean except I did find an earring on the bathroom floor. The bed was also very comfortable. The only criticism is that it was very noisy. The floors are wooden which are beautiful but they are creaky. I wish the would put rug runners down the halls she dampen the sound of people walking. My son wore cowboy boots and he was so loud I was glad that he just came up during the afternoon when people weren't sleeping. Also my room was right across from the ice machine which someone used a lot throughout the night. You could hear them filling up their ice, then the ice would fall to fill the ice machine. I think if they had doors that were thicker and sealed that could take care of that problem. They're also was a step up into the bathroom just a little one but if I was handicapped I would not be able to get into the bathroom. Other than that it was a pleasant place to stay and reasonably priced."

"PROS - easy check-in, free parking option, and free shuttle that covered basically all of downtown Tulsa. Rooms were large and nice finishes. CONS - spent time at the rooftop bar at night and for brunch. super slow service and very unattentive even though there was a ton of servers behind the bar. Also room had a nearly full kitchen setup but it seemed odd you had to have staff come unlock the fridge and no microwave. also had to cover the fridge with towels in order to sleep cause the light on it was so bright. All in all it was a good spot to stay for one night, but for $300 will look elsewhere next time"

"Trader Joe's and Wal-Mart neighborhood market were a very short drive away. We cooked and enjoyed dinner on the patio while the kids played. There was so much to do at the house we didn't feel the need to explore beyond the time we spent at The Gathering Place. We were able to walk to the park and met the neighbors, who enjoyed chatting about their gardens and telling us a bit of history about the neighborhood. The area was very safe, and the people friendly. Everything I could see us making this an annual tradition, my kids loved the house. *We also have a toddler and we're very impressed with the attention to detail in making the home safe for children. "

"***Renter BEWARE****. This property is not accurately depicted by picture nor prior reviews. We are frequent VRBO guests with a strong history of positive stays, and have never experienced anything like this property (photos to prove). We were hosting 8 close family members for our son's wedding, but the condition (of the home) was so poor we immediately vacated. Positive note: We were fortunate to find alternate accommodations for the remainder of the stay. The home was uninhabitable - dirty, poorly maintained & in clear disrepair. It was communicated the day before arrival the refrigerator was not working - that we could use 2 college sized fridges instead (for 8 people, 4 days). When asked, no workable alternative was provided. Other issues included: The bathtub had no enamel, the ceiling in the main area had been leaking down the wall and was falling in, cabinet doors were falling off or crudely fixed with much caulk, a dining room chair was broken and filthy and the dining room chandelier had one working lightbulb. As disappointing as the situation was, it became comical with each room we entered. We also noticed a 'for sale' sign in the yard. For kicks we researched the price and noticed the listing had recently been reduced.. which aligns with its neglected condition. Net it out We would hate to see another family be sold a bill of goods with this property as there are many nearby that are in amazing condition & not misrepresented. "

"We had a wonderful stay, and worked perfectly for our family. The property was very clean and beautifully maintained. It was clear the hosts put a lot of care into making the space comfortable and welcoming. The crib, high chair, and baby gates were especially nice added touches that made traveling with little ones much easier. The home was just minutes from Utica Square, Cherry Street, and The Gathering Place. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this home to others. We would happily stay here again!"
