"Beautifully designed, well appointed, thoughtfully presented, and absolutely gorgeous space. It was an excellent stay!
The instructions were clear, the staff helpful and friendly. It was on a quiet street and still close enough to the main sites of Kanazawa that you could walk to anything in about 20 minutes, or take the bus on the bus loop from the nearby stop. Would definitely stay here again."

"The friendly staff greeted me at the door, spoke enough english so check-in was easy and quick. They then showed me around and proceeded to assist with carrying luggage up the stairs to my room, above and beyond customer service - as with everywhere in Japan. "The best hotel we stayed in while visiting Japan for 3 weeks. Hotel staff are incredibly nice and helpful. We arrived early and they held our bags until check in so we could walk around. The hotel was very reasonably priced for an upscale hotel. The rooms were very clean and the location is perfect. It’s a short walk from the beautiful train station to sites, restaurants, shopping, etc. Highly recommend this hotel and will stay again if I’m ever back in the area. Kanazawa itself is a great destination. Thank you Hotel Nikko Kanazawa for a fabulous stay."

"Fantastic experience staying here. Had the breakfast one day which was a nice traditional Japanese style breakfast and quite good, but keep in mind the fish market is right across the street. This location was perfect for us, easily walkable to most of the attractions Kanazawa had to offer. The public baths were overall pleasant, although my wife had the unfortunate experience that a woman brought her 6-8 year old son into the women’s bath and felt uncomfortable with that. The beds were huge and rooms overall spacious especially compared to the Tokyo hotels we were used to. Would certainly recommend this hotel."
