We spent most of our time on daily hikes and day trips-- the hiking is challenging and highly worthwhile.The town has two small groceries open every day and a couple of shops open only on the weekends. The bakery is open daily and highly worth a visit. Rekkedal farm up the road is open for dinners two or three nights a week. "Views in this place are 11 out of 10. The place was spotless. The owner was awesome to work with. The only drawback is this place sits on a main road that can be noisy at times, but ONLY if you are outside. Views are outstanding. Would definitely stay here again."
