"We loved our tent, but it was in need of some repairs. There was wood that needed to be nailed/screwed so it was squeaking in the wind all night. We used a towel to wedge and mostly stop the noise. There was also a broken zipper on the main door but we know how tough that can be to fix and it wasnt an inconvenience. We were most impressed with the showers, WCs and laundry. "We stayed two nights and had a pool view room with balcony. I was impressed with the condition of the hotel and friendly reception of the hotel staff, we enjoyed the stay and everything was perfect. We did not opt for the breakfast or eat at the restaurant but the menu looked very good and I could see other people enjoying the breakfast and what appeared to be a very nice buffet. We easily walked to old town and also to the ferry docks each way for the crossing to Tangier which is highly recommended. We walked to the beach about 5 minutes and watched the sunset, parking at the hotel for our rental car was free, safe, and secure. We rented a car from the Malagra airport and drove to Tarifa in a few short hours, we were able to see Gibraltar and Tangier easily with plenty of time for looking around in 3 days and two nights in the hotel. I would say that the other reviews we read of this hotel were slightly underrated and we found it to be outstanding and highly recommended. "
