Landscaped Pool, Stapeley Farm, Shropshire The brook has recently been blocked to form two attractively landscaped pools (yet to be marked on OS maps), so the course of the public footpath has to be guessed - a lovely place though, in view of the refurbished old farm buildings.

Farm Road north of New House Farm It is difficult to understand why such a track, leading only into some fields used for cereal crops, should have been given a proper road surface for the first two hundred metres. Beyond that it is still surfaced - with stones.

Buildings at Stapeley Farm, near Monkhopton, Shropshire The farm is being extensively (and expensively) renovated together with the farm grounds. Although a new stile has been built by the gate leading to the farm, the course of the public footpath through the freshly landscaped land by farmhouse itself is unclear.
