"The property was lovely, cosy and had absolutely spectacular views from the balcony and terrace across the countryside. There were two good bedrooms comfortably accommodating the four of us and a bathroom with a good powerful shower which is always a bonus in hot weather. You will definitely need a car for this location as the local village has no shop or other real amenities but its very rural location ensures you are surrounded by stunning countryside. It is only about 30 minutes to Heidelberg...

"From being met by our host at the door before we even rang the bell to when we left this was the perfect last stop on our trip. The apartment is very large, beautifully decorated, and absolutely immaculate. We were flying late out of Frankfurt on our last day and the host offered to let us stay beyond check out time rather than us sitting at the airport. "Amazing!! It’s right at the top of funicular train from town, so easy to get to town or back from town. Plenty of parking if you drive and amazing, truly amazing views!! The hiking is top notch down to the Castle, recommend the funicular back up. Rooms are gorgeous, clean, simple, with warm and cozy bedding and towels. Hit the sauna for a very warm warm up. "

"This is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location. The rooms may not have the most modern amenities but they are comfortable and the view from my window was unbeatable. The service at the front desk was attentive and informative. Note that the hotel faces a very popular street and it can be loud with people until very late at night and again in the morning during trash pick up. The windows block most of the sound, but I prefer to have the fresh air with windows open. The one downside was the breakfast. Expedia said it would be free, but I was charged for it. Breakfast began at 8:00am, but when I went down at 8:30am the eggs were cold. The egs were also flavored like the bacon which is troubling when you are someone who does not eat pork. Go for the fantastic location and service. Don't go for the food. Americans should note that the hotel is not air conditioned. "
