Clean, with beautiful views of the surrounding area, it was within close proximity of the major sites (Oberammergau, Garmisch, Schloss Neuschwanstein, Ettal Abbey, etc.) The owner, who speaks English well, communicated quickly in response to our initial inquiry as well as subsequent questions we had. We would gladly stay here again for either a winter or summer visit to the region."

"Pros: We had a wonderful time in Oberammergau, enjoying walking locally in the December snow. Tried out local cafes for all the fabulous cakes and hot chocolate. Lidl is in walking distance for all the supplies you might need if you want to cook. The kitchen is very well stocked with all the utensils you might need. Beds are comfy and the hot water plentiful and hot. WiFi good. The host was delightful. Met us on arrival and showed us around. Very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend this...
