"Having stayed in a Budget Ibis in Poland the night before, my expectations were not high, but they were surpassed. This hotel is good value, it is a budget hotel so don't expect any frills. The rooms are basic and functional, ideal for stopping over on a journey, rather than long stays. The staff were friendly and even waived our 3 Euro parking fee as we were transporting aid to Ukraine. Breakfast was nice, a good selection of alternatives for all tastes. The only point I found a little odd...

"The staff at Reception were super but there was a problem with the Health Centre staff. The infotmation about hours when the pool was available to hotel guests was wrong and we missed out on a swim on our first day as a result. We ate the evening buffet which was good and very good value. Its close to the forest - good for walkers and cyclists but otherwise you need a car."

"This is the most fantastic hotel anyone could hope for !!!!!! In the states the price would be twice as much. Everything about this property is superb and beautifully maintained. If you want to visit the Wartburg castle this is the place to stay . We cannot rave enough. Our meal in their diningroom was worthy of a five star hotel ! "

Das Appartement Fahner Höhe, hat eine schlicht schöne Einrichtung, Komfort war gegeben, das Bad ist sehr schön, leider war das Feuchtigkeitslevel nach dem Duschen so hoch das das Wasser vom Spiegel lief! Das ist aber eine Sache der Lüftung/Abluft. Die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer ist sehr schön. "

Therme which was included to the room price, is open till 20:30, at least that what was written, however I have tried to go at 19:30, and the door to Therme was closed.As they are claiming this is a four star hotel, they shall put more efforts for international customers."
