"The reviews don’t lie, great property and friendly hospitable staff. Especially loved the peace and quiet and being able to relax with a glass of wine on the balcony while listening to the sound of the sea and enjoying its breeze. Small boutique hotel outside of the hustle and bustle of old town with a private beach. Great restaurants within walking distance Prima Plora and their own Thalassa Seafood restaurant. My room was comfortable, but the bedroom area was a little warm. I’m sure they would’ve adjusted the temperatures if I had asked. As a female traveling alone I felt safe. Will be back! "

"Booked as wanted a hotel with a pool. The pool and the pool bar were closed unfortunately. The weather had been a bit changeable but the pool looked like it hadn’t been used for a while. Would like to have been informed.. However, the rooms were exceptionally clean. Could do with glasses/cups in the room though"

"The room is very clean of good size and offers all one needs to relax, self-cook or wash anything, air conditioning if warm and even heating if cold (usually not), a terrace with view on the see. Maybe add instructions on how to use the TV, which I have not watched."

"The staff is great, very welcoming and friendly. Michael gave us the information we needed to enjoy our visit to Rethymno. The Hotel provides great recommendations, very clean rooms, and a fantastic breakfast in the morning. Parking on the street can be difficult but the location and this hotel is worth the effort. I highly recommend the Menta City Boutique Hotel. "

"The map on here isn’t right, but the villa is actually incredibly easy to find. Brand new, really high spec there was more than enough room for the 5 of us. There is a supermarket literally a minute away, but bakeries, tavernas etc in the village. Pool was great, along with all the outside area. Wifi fast for the kids and the kitchen has everything you need and more. We’ve stayed locally before and would definitely stay here again, it’s super easy to drive down to the Old Town when required and there is enough locallly if nobody wants to drive! Recommended "
