This is a unique opportunity for one or two families to live in the middle of the heart of Dalsland right by the Dalsland Canal. This paradise can only be rented for a minimum of two weeks. The adventure begins when you park the cars, the house owner picks you up and takes you on an unforgettable journey through the canal and out to the car-free island. You can rent a boat to get to and from the island during your stay.

You arrive at a 100-year-old archipelago villa that has been lovingly renovated to modern standards in hygiene areas and kitchens. Rooms and furnishings have been preserved as far as possible from the beginning of the 20th century. Comfortable beds and well-sized family rooms for relaxation and recreation.

The sauna building has a fresh shower and a fantastic view of the Svanfjord through panoramic windows. The sauna is heated by fire wood for the most pleasant warmth.

Things to do in Köpmannebro and the surrounding area

From the house you are only meters from swimming and fishing in fantastic natural surroundings. Here you can enjoy an exciting swim and a tip is to go on a boat trip and discover Dalsland's canal.

There are also plenty of things to see and do in Köpmannebro. A tip is to visit Köpmannebro lock. The lock is the first in the Dalsland canal that runs from Vänern into lake Svanefjorden and on to Värmland. There are also nice cafes along the canal and by the lock.

A must during your stay is to see Dalsland's pride - the aqueduct in Håverud, which attracts hundreds of visitors every year. Mellerud is also close by, which is a nice small town with a nice selection of restaurants, shops and shopping.

Deposit: SEK 2,500 which is deducted on the day of arrival and transferred to the account no later than 3 days after the day of departure.
