Welcome to Milan, a fully renovated 1940s lakefront manor that blends privacy, modern luxury, and outdoor adventure. Thoughtfully updated to honor its historic character, Milan offers acres of scenic grounds, multiple patios, fire pits, a screened-in porch with comfortable seating, and a pickleball court. Inside, unwind in the themed speakeasy, cook in the chef-style kitchen, or enjoy the game room. Milan at Smith Mountain Lake is the ideal destination for a fun, relaxing family getaway.

5 bedroom, 8 bath home with fully equipped chef`s kitchen. Bridal suite with 2 queen beds and makeup/changing room. Large owner`s suite with king sized bed, sitting room and coffee bar. Bunk room with set of full and set of queen bunk beds, attached sitting room with TV and sofa bed. Two additional bedrooms each with queen beds. Speakeasy/Lounge. Game room with pool table. Large screened in porch. Patio fire pit, lake front fire pit, pickle ball court, & beautiful grounds with neighboring pasture.

$1500.00 damage deposit required.

Guests will have access to the lake from our dock. The dock will allow docking of 1 boat. Please notate in your booking if you will be bringing a boat or renting one for your stay.

Exceptional property

The property was very clean and well maintained. Kitchen a dream and well equipped Plenty to keep 7 children entertained and happy. Adults were very comfortable - able to stay together or in groups in different rooms. Host rapidly responded to all inquiries.

Beautiful renovation, however the ancient door knobs often did not work (the landlord promised to replace) which created a safety issue getting into/out of the master bedroom. Additionally, while the views were beautiful, the lake level at the (very basic floating) dock (located hundreds of yards away from the house) and the surrounding water was too low (3-7') making it not great for our boat and unfavorable for swimming. The supplied golf carts were nice to get to the dock, but would have preferred something walkable.
