The piano player at 1902 restaurant at dinner was phenomenal playing um Kalthoum and other classic Arabic music. Really memorable. The staff is polite and extra kind and gracious. The wooden stairs were not so clean and had webs at some corners."

"I love this property. It was authentic to the Nubian people who are from Aswan. The staff was accomadating and helpful. Food was delicious. Breakfast was more like a feast. Authentic Egyptian breakfast. Better to have the hotel send transportation from the airport. It is difficult to find as it is really off the beaten path. Sat and watched the sun rise from my room. "Excellent stay, and very well looked after. We were sceptical having read some reviews, but in comparison to similar stays across the country it is in line with expectations. While the furniture in the bedroom was slightly dated, it was spotless, comfy bed, and excellent shower. Air con was great. Pool area was wonderful, especially after a long day. There were some bugs but this is normal considering it is next to the Nile. Didn't put us off getting in during the 45 degree heat! Breakfast...

"One could hardly get closer to the Nile! Superb vantage point! Apartments each have private entrance patio facing the Nile. Lovely, gracious staff greet and serve kindly. Improvements to make: clearer signage around this maze of ramps, apartments and dining rooms. In summary: a great place!"
