The apartment for 6 guests located in Gornji Picudo, a small village near Umag, is a wonderful accommodation offering comfort and tranquility in a setting surrounded by greenery. The newly furnished apartment provides everything needed for a completely relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The highlight of the accommodation is the attic on the upper floor with a small terrace overlooking the beautiful surrounding countryside.
The new apartment has been furnished with great care and attention, with maximum consideration given to guests' comfort. The accommodation features a covered terrace at the entrance, furnished with a table and chairs where you can enjoy breakfast in the shade. In the entrance hallway, there is a door separating the staircase leading to the attic from the rest of the apartment. The attic is equipped with a double bed, a wardrobe, air conditioning, a refrigerator, and a bathroom with a shower. It also has access to a beautiful small terrace furnished with a table and two chairs. The attic is ideal for couples who wish to spend their holiday together while also enjoying their own privacy.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including an oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave oven, filter coffee machine, Moka pot, kettle, toaster, cookware, and kitchen utensils. The living area is furnished with a comfortable sofa, dining table with chairs, flat-screen satellite TV, and air conditioning.
The first bedroom features a double bed (160x200), bedside tables with reading lamps, two wardrobes, and a desk, while the second bedroom has two single beds. The full bathroom is equipped with a shower cabin, washbasin with cabinet and mirror, bidet, toilet, and washing machine. Two towels per person are provided, and bed linen is changed weekly.
In the garden, available for guests' private use, there is a barbecue, a table with chairs, and two sun loungers. Free private parking is also available near the house.
The neighborhood is extremely peaceful, consisting of only a few private houses with gardens and surrounded by beautiful nature. Lovers of peace and nature will be delighted by the nearby meadows and walking paths. The nearest grocery store is located in the village of Juricani, approximately 2.5 km away, while supermarkets and the center of Umag can be reached in just 10 minutes by car. The nearest rocky beach is about 8 km away, while sandy beaches are approximately 12 km away. The use of a car is highly recommended in this area.
In the center of Umag, we recommend visiting the museum, aquarium, and cathedral, taking a walk along the famous Umag seawall, exploring the narrow and charming streets of Umag's old town, the new square enhanced by a fountain, shopping in the town center, or visiting the waterfront stalls and playground for the enjoyment of children.
For larger grocery shopping, we recommend driving a few kilometers to the larger and more affordable supermarkets such as Lidl, Spar, Kaufland, or Plodine in Umag.
There are many leisure opportunities in the Umag area: tennis courts, the 18-hole Golf Club Adriatic, equestrian centers, sports centers for water sports enthusiasts where you can enjoy water skiing, diving, and boat rentals, the Jangalooz adventure park and mini-golf course near the Sol Stella Maris tourist resort, nightclubs, casinos, and various boat or bus excursions.
The area is rich in renowned restaurants, casual dining venues, pizzerias, fast-food outlets, and bars. Those wishing to explore Istria will discover caves, ruins, numerous churches, museums, and impressive marinas.
