We especially appreciated the soap to use with the washer and dryer. After traveling for a few weeks, we were grateful that we could easily do some laundry!!

Excellent breakfast and healthy dinner all well prepared. Soup, salad and a main suited us well.

Apartment is very nice and as described. Communication with the owners is spotty at best. Even following the directions in the guest guide only resulted in one response to one question. When I enquired about an item left behind, there was no response at all.

We stayed at Rosenbergsgatte 36. The room and building were well kept. However, each of the three nights we spent in the room, we were kept awake by patrons of a bar around the corner (1-2 minute walk away) They were not just loud but screaming at the top of their lungs every evening when they left the bar. The fact that this location is noisy should be noted. It was central and easy to get around Bergen from here. However, the fact that we could not get a good night's sleep negatively impacted our visit to Bergen, as time we should have spent exploring was spent sleeping to catch up on the sleep that was so rudely interrupted. Also, as guests, we were expected to make our own bed and strip it upon leaving. I don't feel this is appropriate when being asked to pay to stay here. Furthermore, it was difficult to reach someone when we were arriving to get our code for the building and the room. When corresponding with one of our two contacts, any email I sent with my phone number or email address I was told the recipient could not see the information. This made it very difficult to receive our codes for the building and the room.

Amazing charming French sumptuous hotel with attentive staff, most unique, beautiful space and rooms. Food was delicious.
