"The room was poorly cleaned on our first day with stained carpets. There was never anyone around at the pool/sauna desk and nobody could explain if the sauna was included or charged so we didn’t use it. Breakfast was reasonable with good choices. A lot of children staying here so better for families I think. I would say that despite being in the four star section, it was more like a three star. No minibar or room service menu. "We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was spacious and comfortable, the courtyard was lovely with stunning views, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The front desk clerk went above and beyond to help me find a great massage place, even calling them herself. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended our stay for an additional night."

"Vasja is a fabulous host, who greets visitors with a welcome drink & plenty of regional insight. The apartments are designed for big groups with multiple beds in multiple rooms. While we only stayed for 2 nights, things are set up nicely for week-long stays. Breakfasts are delicious and locally sourced. Bovec is reasonably convenient (35-40 min) to ski slopes in Italy. It’s also in the heart of beautiful natural wonders. Driving the mountain roads nearby is exhilarating."

"Location is great. That’s it. The rest is terrible or very basic. The rooms are probably from 1980 or earlier (see the photos). The price per room is around 300 euro per night. This is the lowest standard we ever been to considering the fee. Rude and arrogant receptionist (the blonde one). Room dirty see the photos. I would rather sleep in a car than stay in this room. "

"Good location in the soca valley. It is a 3 star hotel With comfortable beds and an ok breakfast. The employees are helpful and kind. No air conditioning. Also, a small thing, but we got charged at their restaurant a ‘plate setting fee’ - this is not a custom in Solvenia and felt like a money grab that left a bad taste in our mouth. "
