"The only reason I booked this hotel was because of the pool. I was super disappointed to show up and find that the pool was drained. Would have been nice to get a notice or some sort of communication about this. Other than that, the staff was nice, rooms were clean and much more spacious than usual rooms in Japan."

We have stayed at many 5 star resorts around the world and The Shigira ranks up as one of the best experiences that we have had."
