You get what you pay for this hotel is very old and rundown. There is no reception to speak of, but the two saving graces are the pool area and breakfast. The staff are all very courteous and helpful but if ever Hotel needed a good clean. It’s this one. The worst part was the water pressure or like there.

A must stay in Udon Thani

On my trip from Laos I decided to stay in Udon Thani for 2 nights and I chose the Kavin Buri Hotel. The place has a rooftop bar and swimming pool, the water was crystal clear and you can see the whole city of Udon Thani. The rooms are a little small but there’s a balcony too, in fact the hotel rooms are designed to keep the heat out and keep cool inside and that way the A/C doesn’t have to work that hard this way. The included breakfast is good, there’s Thai options too and there was red curry and rice in the buffet and it was very tasty. The place is very close to everything, the big shopping mall, the night markets etc. The staff were friendly and professional and I got a free airport transfer in the package, I didn’t have to deal with taxi drivers dubious tricks. If your new to Udon Thani I’d highly recommend Kavin Buri Hotel.

Good deal hotel

Well appreciated the hotel service with free arport pick up and drop off . Also closed location of the central world shopping center. Only missing point is taht massage shop will closed by 21:00.

You get what you’re paying for you’re staying at a budget hotel however my room appears to be below average: multiple stains on curtains, coffee maker didn’t work, multiple areas in room where furniture or walls are damaged, bathroom was the worst very poor layout and design for entry and access- felt like I was using an airplane bathroom for about a week. You have to close the two doors when you’re inside just so you can use the sink and to use the shower. It’s only 15 inches wide. I could just barely get in and out using the shower.. water pressure was very weak and there were multiple mildew and other stains in the bathroom that appeared that had been there for quite some time. It appeared disgusting to me. Occasionally, I would ask front desk reception staff a question or for assistance sometimes I would get this snobby like behavior that felt inappropriate to me.

A very pleasant surprise.

Kavin Buri Green was a very pleasant surprise. I usually stay at the Panarai when in town but Kavin was just as good and at half the price, great value. Restaraunts breakfast and bars excellent. The only negative I have is the rooftop pool needs some umbrella shade for their deck chairs.

Very Disappointing

Covid has hit Udon hard and the Karin Buri hotel was not exempt. We used to stay there on a regular basis and at that time it was run by the family who owned it and often that family would be in the restaurant dining or socialising. I can only surmise that the ownership has changed as the hotel is in desperate need of some care and attention and as for the food, well we didn’t eat there after the breakfast we were given. Reception not the friendliest either. Sorry guys you have to work on it or remain a £18 per night hotel.

I stayed many times at this hotel. It's always been a good experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The free airport shuttle is great. Breakfast is ok for this size of hotel. The hotel should fix the wooden planks at the pool area. Many are broken. I'll definitely stay here again.
