Novelty of staying on a houseboat is fun, and the place was nicely laid out and clean. However, there is essentially nothing in the immediate area for dining or amenities. There's a plaza of stores about 2km away. Immediate vicinity is a bit gritty and public transport is limited. It was odd to feel isolated yet look across the harbor and see a bustling city. A car or Uber is almost a must. My houseboat had a swampy smell to it. It wasn't the marina; the air outside smelled fine. Maybe need to clean a bilge pump or something.

Hej! A great little hotel. Clean. Comfy. Helpful staff. Central to all the things you need to see, even convenient for a day trip to the Southern Islands. I would recommend Cafe Husaren in Haga for your 'fika' and Brasserie Draken in Hotel Draken on the 33rd floor for the view and best food in Göteborg. Tak så mycket!!

Good clean hotel with a large room and a comfortable large bed. Great staff. The area around isn't the best but it is safe with many restaurants and is vert close to the central railway station.

This is a run down hotel, but is being worked on when I was there. The worst part was after walking from the train station, I had to climb a flight of stairs, then go down several steps to get to reception. No a great thing to have to do with two heavy (for me) bags.
