Great Stay at Fern Residency Udaipur

Very comfortable stay. Check in and check out was very quick. Front desk team took good care. Dinner at the roof top restaurant was vey good.

Great experience.

Amazing service, very kind staff. Unexpectedly though, difference between ordinary room and suite is not that big. Lovely location, around Rs. 120 to uber to main tourist spots.

We had a terrible time st hotel. Our room was highly humid and room window glass was sweating. Water coming in room. Spoiled our prescription medicines. Staff of hotel are mostly students and have no answers.

Average Hotel, Not Value for Money

We booked 4 nights and paid quite a steep price given the holiday season. The room was quite spacious and relatively clean. However there were problems with the room air conditioning which left the bed cold and damp. We also booked a 3rd bed which never arrived. After repeated reminders and finally escalating to the hotel manager, they provided one. Hotel Location is a bit unfriendly as the hotel is off the highway on the city outskirts. Staff is friendly and try their best but there is not enough attention to detail. They clearly lack basic training. On the positive side, the restaurant breakfast and food was quite good Overall, the experience was pretty ordinary and not sufficient value for money

Its a great economical stay that's very clean and comfortable. Not in the centre of Udaipur but you can easily access the sights around the city in 10-15 mins. The only downside of this hotel is that everything on the Menu is vegetarian.

Dinner was a good experience but all napkins, towels, sheets, and pillow cases have stains on them. The front desk was terrible. Location was difficult to find.

Convenient and Clean Hotel. Basic property.

Experience was strictly OK, not very good and not bad either. Room was much smaller than what they show you in photos. I was a little disappointed with this property as I had high expectations after looking at the photos during booking. Rooms are half the size than they look in the pictures, and I am talking about the Fern Club room. The basic rooms i am guessing will be even smaller. Had to call up and ask for basic necessities like bedroom slippers, towels, bathrobe, etc. Room was given to us with just 1 towel. Also breakfast had very very limited options. Again, not as expected. Positive about this hotel is that its a new property, so its very very clean. Location connectivity is good, short taxi ride to the city center and all major attractions. Stayed here for one night. Will not recommend this for Longer & Leisure stays.

Friendly and homely seevice

Very helpful and friendly front office staff. During the 500 and 1000 rupee demonitisation period the instant care and concern for us was very heart warming, especially when staff offered to change 500 rupee note with their own money ie 100 rupee notes. Overall excellent service. Restaurant staff were courteous too.

It was a comfortable stay. Staff are very friendly. While booking we asked for extra bed for our child. we got a comfortable roll over bed. Very good. Food was very good. Good service. If I have another choice to visit Udhaipur, I would definitely stay in Fern.

Overall good

Overall the hotel is good, the hotel staff tries to provide the best service although they seem new and lack customer understanding. The comfort is very good, hotel needs more light and transportation to the city is very expensive.

Horrible! The client comes last

Horrible! They put me at the most noisy room in the hotel right next to the employees service entrance, I could hear them washing dishes, dragging furniture and opening/closing doors ALL NIGHT and I simply could not sleep. Told the manager and receptionists about that and they said there is no vacancy so they cannot change my room (while a search on hotels.com showed they have 2 suits just like mine available). I hate hotels like this one who won't let you sleep!!
