Our home is available for rent ONLY from Saturday to Saturday; NO weekend or midweek stays

Our house, No. 2 in a small holiday park called the Friese Wadden, is fully equipped and furnished so that your holiday can begin right away - relax in the fenced-in garden, rent bikes at the front desk, or bring your own bikes (store them in the storage shed, which also has a washing machine, combination microwave, and small freezer), parking available at the house, cooking in a kitchen that’s well-equipped with various appliances such as a new oven, blender, toaster, dishwasher, steam oven, Senseo coffee maker, or a regular coffee maker, etc.

Check-in is on Saturday between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. so your holiday can get off to a relaxed start; after your last day of work, you’ll have time to unwind and unpack your bags. On the day of departure—also a Saturday—please vacate the property by 10:00 a.m. The property is available for rent only on a weekly basis; no midweek or weekend rentals.

Cleaning fees and bed linens are mandatory. Bed linens cost €8.00 per person; the cleaning fee is €70.00, which we kindly ask you to pay upon arrival when the keys are handed over. Dogs (maximum of 2) are allowed in this property but not in the bedrooms or on the sofa in the living room. The additional cleaning fee is €15.00 per dog.

As of December 1, 2024, all single beds on both the ground floor and upstairs are equipped with new Emma Hybrid II mattresses to enhance your sleeping comfort.

On the ground floor, there is a bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with a small sink. The bathroom here features a bathtub, a large sink with two faucets, a mirror with built-in lighting, and a spacious shower.

Upstairs is a spacious bedroom with three single beds. On the landing, there is a cot and a high chair. The staircase can be secured with a safety gate for children’s safety.

In the evening, you can relax in the garden, which is fenced with conifers: please be aware that curious dogs may be able to squeeze through the small gaps.

You can use the Ziggo network to listen to your own music or play a game via Wi-Fi.

The home is located in a small-scale holiday park in Tzummarum. The park is situated on the outskirts of the village and is an excellent starting point for hiking and biking.
Just a few minutes from our holiday home, you’ll find yourself on "De Dijk" with a stunning view of the Wadden Sea. Of course, you can also visit picturesque towns such as Franeker and Harlingen (easily accessible by bike or car).Ferries depart from Harlingen to the islands of Terschelling and Vlieland, which are definitely worth a visit. Leeuwarden—the European Capital of Culture in 2018—is 22 km away.

During your stay, you can use the park’s facilities, such as an outdoor swimming pool with a separate children’s pool (plus a small playground next to the children’s pool), a cafeteria, a playground, table tennis, and a tennis court (free for guests). We’ve provided pool passes in our home so you can swim outdoors every day during the high season.
