Fantastic place
The property was in great condition when we arrived, and everything worked as promised. One of the best locations and very private. Communication with the owner was better than we could have expected. Highly recommend!

Family GetAway
We had a great stay. Loved the set up and cozy atmosphere. The deer and eagles were fun to watch. The grandchildren loved Gooseberry Falls and the Split Rock Lighthouse. We even had a movie night and a game night too. The kitchen is awesome and had everything we needed. Wonderful home for a vacation

Cabin Getaway
This cabin is beautiful. Our group stayed in February and had a great time. There was so much room for us all! It was very clean. It had everything that we needed. We would love to stay again in the summer.

Great Location and Stay
Loved this spot for our long weekend in the north shore. Close to state parks, two harbors, and Duluth. Beautiful sunrise and fall foliage views from the deck and cute visits from deer in the woods. We wished for some more seating options in the main kitchen area for morning coffee when it was too wet to be outside on the deck (other than sitting at dining table). I think this spot would benefit from furniture in loft (it’s empty) and maybe air mattresses to accommodate families with children. Could easily host more folks in the cabin with a few more accommodations. Would 100% stay here again and recommend.

Attending a friends Wedding
Our group of friends enjoyed our time there while attending a friends wedding in Two Harbors. All was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed playing board games while we were there.

It was mostly good. It was private like we wanted, clean and well furnished. One small complaint, only bedrooms had curtains. Curtains on all windows and doors would have been nice, especially when dark and interior lights are on. Biggest complaint was it was listed with air conditioning, but either too small or not functioning. Heat up during the day and if no wind very slow to cool down at night with open windows. Some of the screens had small tears patched with band aids and a few bugs got in. AC on didn't lower inside temperature. We don't leave windows open at night at our own house and don't want to leave them open at night at our vacation rental.

Chill Getaway
The cabin was a perfect home base for 2 couples. We had perfect weather, so we spent lots of time on the deck. Also enjoyed movie nights. Great location for many hikes. We enjoyed several nearby restaurants, and Betty’s Pies was our favorite. Chad was very responsive. The cabin was very clean and comfortable.

Great cabin for North Shore weekend
Very nice and well equipped cabin about 20 minutes north of Duluth. Excellent place to stay for our group of 5 for Grandma's marathon weekend. Chad is a great host, responded quickly to questions and seemed like someone I'd like to have as a friend. Was magical watching fireflies in the meadow below the deck after it got dark. We hope to stay here again!

Nice Cabin
This is a nice cabin with a view of Lake Superior. We were there for a weekend in late March, so it was cold and snowy. We used the fire table briefly to make s’mores and were sad the weather wasn’t better since we didn’t want to linger. The basement tv area was cozy at night. We are interested to learn what will go into the loft! Library/game room? We went to the aquarium and Glensheen Manor in Duluth and up to Gooseberry Falls since we’ve never seen it frozen before. Couldn’t believe how many deer we saw!

Perfect quiet getaway! Immaculately clean; great owners!
This was the perfect weekend getaway. I wanted to get away from home and have a quiet space to rest for the weekend. My husband and sons wanted something close to great snowmobile trails. We all got what we wanted. This home is IMMACULATE! Everything looks brand new and is sparkling clean. Chad was fantastic to communicate with and made this a super easy stay. I loved that you could look out some windows and see nothing but nature. The views of Lake Superior were spectacular, especially on a sunny morning. Take your time driving slow down the road and you'll likely see a family or two of deer. I highly recommend this property!

Great weekend cabin
We stayed for a quick friends weekend and this was a great place to stay! Very easy to get to - just a short way north of Duluth - and a great view of the lake from up on a ridge. New cabin, very clean and tidy, with all of the kitchen things you might need. Thanks for a great time!

Winter Wonderland
The property was located in the country near Knife River. It is a beautiful spot and was even more lovely with the snow falling. We could see Lake Superior off in the distance. Our family celebrated our grandson’s 3rd birthday. It was a great spot and hope to make it an annual thing! Thank you!

Very nice cabin, beautiful woodwork, great wraparound deck with chairs. Stairs a little intimidating, both inside and out, and limited furniture in great room. Up high enough to see some of the lake and away from most of traffic

Perfect North Shore Cabin
The house is super clean and conveniently located to the gateway to the North Shore. The views of superior were awesome, house was well equipped, the heated bathroom floors were a major plus, and the cozy living room was perfect way to relax after a long day of hiking! Beautiful cozy modern clean cabin
We loved it and will be back with our whole family! It was a last minute mini getaway we did with our 2 boys my husband and I! Everything met our expectations I’m a clean freak and everything was super clean! Cozy brand new modern cabin! The only small thing I didn’t like was the flies and lady bugs inside the cabin. But I know it is imposible to Keep them out when your staying out in the woods. The wifi and service was very very poor so that made it hard for our movie nights with our 3 year old. But other then that everything was perfect!

Great weekend stay
A multi-generation group of women stayed for the weekend to do some hiking and shopping in the areas. The house worked perfectly for our needs. The layout of the house worked great with three nice bedrooms with comfortable beds, a well appointed kitchen and a nice kitchen table that was great for playing games. We didn’t use the family room but the couch was comfortable and would have been great for movie night. The house was very clean and the host was helpful and responsive. The house was close to Two Harbors and near state parks. I would consider staying here again if we are back in the area.

Wonderful North Shore experience!
This lovely log cabin has everything you need for a perfect stay! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped! We really appreciated the comfortable beds after a full day of fun activities. The location is private and quiet and offers an incredible view. I would not hesitate to stay again.

Great North Shore getaway!
Our family had a wonderful stay! We loved the awesome deck and kitchen/dining space. It was close to many great destinations. We really appreciated being able to bring our dog. There was even a trampoline for our young kids to get their energy out! Highly recommend!

Peaceful and beautiful Lake Superior retreat!
We so enjoyed our stay in this exceptional, modern cabin just outside of Two Harbors, MN - it was very hard to leave! The cabin is a quiet, peaceful, relaxing respite that's just a short drive to Duluth and Two Harbors. We brought our bikes and took several day trips to bike trails, Grand Marais, etc. Chad provided excellent instructions and directions which made our check-in and stay a breeze. The cabin was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated with many amenities including an outdoor gas firepit, upstairs deck for lounging, gas grill, modern kitchen appliances, and indoor gas fireplace. The kitchen was well stocked, and the bedrooms were well appointed with cozy quilts and bedding. My partner and I kept marveling at how perfect the cabin is and couldn't think of any suggestions for improvement. In the evenings, we enjoyed the upstairs deck and firepit, as well as the downstairs living room for streaming movies. Our stay was incredible and we hope to visit again soon!

Enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Perfect place for 3 couples in Duluth for a wedding. It was not too long of a drive and close enough for some sightseeing. We had perfect weather and enjoyed the fire pit/table on the deck. Would recommend this place to others.

Highly recommend!
Our group stayed in the property for three nights. We were immediately impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin and how well apportioned it was. The cabin is laid out well and had plenty of room for our group. We cooked our breakfast and dinner there and were never in need of basic cooking utensils. The outdoor grill worked well and the fire table on the deck was a hit as well. Beds slept very comfortably. Our communication with the owner was excellent and everything about the stay exceeded our expectations. If we are back in the area we would stay again!

This was a beautiful cabin in a quiet location near Two Harbors and Duluth. The cabin was so clean and new and well appointed, really lovely! We were visited in the mornings by a doe and her fawn so a fun and relaxing stay!

Weekend Getaway
My wife and I were looking for a place to stay with easy access to hiking trails along the North Shore without being too far from Duluth. This place delivers! It was incredibly clean and well kept. It had all of the kitchen utensils we needed to make ourselves dinner and a nice spot on the deck to relax and play cards after a long day of hiking (and breweries). The smart TV was also a nice bonus!

This is a truly 5 star cabin. The property is very neat, clean, updated, well stocked and absolutely beautiful. A quaint wood cabin on the north shore. We went up and down the north shore and the location was absolutely ideal. Much more beautiful in person. Perfect level of privacy and close to nature, we really enjoyed our stay and hope to return. Communication with the host was effective and prompt. Spectacular spot!

We had a beautiful time at this rental. It was located up on the hill and a long quite driveway. Only draw back is this property has a lot of stairs to get to the main floor. But a beautiful property.

We have never stayed anywhere that was kept so clean. Location was perfect. Close to Duluth and Two Harbors. Despite being close to town it felt remote located at the end of a private road. It sits high enough up a hillside you can see the lake. Loved the sectional couch and fireplace on the deck. We sat out both nights. The final night a Grouse was drumming nearby most of the night. Loved that we could bring our dog too! The grandsons loved the movie style room downstairs. Chad was super responsive. We had a wonderful time.

We enjoyed our time "up the shore." The location of this house is excellent for accessing Duluth, Grand Marais, and all locations in between. The folks who own and operate this house are super tidy and fast communicators. Our group had impossible weather conditions when we first planned to stay and Baleen/Chad were able to help me reschedule for another time. I really appreciated that - thank you.

Comfortable Condo-Cabin near Duluth, on MN's N. Shore
Once located (a bit off the beaten track/road), we all found this contemporary-built-&-fully-accessorized property to be very comfortable. Tho' just a short distance up a dirt road from Hwy-61, it seemed very quiet & private; plus the view over the tree-line to Lake Superior was most impressive. Since we needed to pop-in to Duluth a couple times over two days, it was ideally situated for our needs. If I was to recc anything for our hosts to add to their property, it would be more clothing hooks in the bedrooms, etc. and a dish-drying rack for hand-washed dishes, pots, etc. THX!

Beautiful Cabin and Perfect Location!
We stayed here with 4 adults, a 1 year old, and a dog and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The cabin was beautiful, super clean, and had everything we needed to stay in and relax. We were able to cook dinners in the oven and used the grill and gas fire pit, it was just perfect! The cabin was easy to get to conveniently located. We were able to quickly go to Two Harbors and find beautiful trails to hike and places to eat, grocery store, and an amazing brewery, have to go to Castle Danger Brewery, it’s awesome! It’s also conveniently located to Duluth where we able to spend the day shopping as well. Hands down perfect trip and perfect place to stay! Beautiful views from cabin and all around in Duluth & Two Harbors! Would highly recommend!!

This was a cozy and modern cabin that fitted exactly what we were looking for. It’s as advertised on the picture: beautiful, clean, and spacious. The owner was very responsive and polite. Would definitely rent again and highly recommend!
