"The Finch has a nice vibe, reminds me of Joie de Vivre hotels. The structure makes it difficult to keep your window open and have much privacy. That being said, the room was spacious, clean, lots of thoughtful items and some nice design. The bed itself was super comfortable and the pillows excellent. The bath products were good quality. The fellow at the desk was very laid back, but quite nice, willing to be helpful and proactive. I think some of the design choices aren't very practical, like the teeny tiny bedside "tables" and towel bars. It would be great if the room had a kettle or a way to make tea or coffee. So my biggest suggestions are sheers on the window, larger bedside table and a kettle. I would definitely recommend The Finch!"

"Beautifully remodeled, with interesting details Hotel Hardware was a delightful stay. The Bobcat bar drinks were top notch and we had a good conversation with the owner/bartender. Dayton’s downtown is pleasant to walk around in, we did the river trail in the morning, a pretty paved walk by the Touchet river."

"The room had a horrible smell, dirty sheets and towels, and even no lock on my second room that I was moved to. Very unclean, unkempt, and felt very unsafe. Bring gloves and lots of disinfectant!"

"We had such a great stay at the forest retreat! Our kids loved playing in the yard, treats in a welcome basket, and meeting the owner's dogs. The adults enjoyed some super comfy king beds, testing out the gym equipment, massage chair, and hot tub. Lazy mornings enjoying coffee on the patio watching the baby geese find snacks in the grass was very relaxing. We've stayed here once previously a couple years ago and would stay again. Thank you!"
