"The house is very cute. Our family had a nice stay. The kitchen was well equipped and the K-pod selection met everyone's tastes. Zach was very responsive to a little blip we had while trying to connect to the internet. He had us online in a single call. The signal was strong and my kid was able to complete an online exam and assignment. I would highly recommend this property. We are hoping to come back in the summer and enjoy the lake."

"Great location — that was definitely the best part of our stay. But honestly we ran into some real issues that made the trip pretty uncomfortable.The water had a really strong sulfur smell in every bathroom and the kitchen. Showering was unpleasant the entire trip and cooking was a struggle. When we brought it up the host admitted they already knew about it but hadn't mentioned it anywhere in the listing. Their response was basically that we'd get used to it. There was a filter under the kitchen sink but the water came out so slowly it was barely usable. A few guests also had some skin sensitivity from the water. Some of the shower heads and sinks were visibly rusted which tells you this has been going on a while.Several bathrooms and bedrooms also had locks that didn't work — not great when you're traveling with families.Just a heads up for anyone booking in summer — AC is not listed as an amenity and is not available at the property. With a bigger group it gets pretty warm.The host replied quickly but wasn't very open to addressing our concerns. Nice location but these things need to be fixed and disclosed before booking."

"Absolutely gorgeous home with a lake view. Sunrises and sunsets were thoroughly enjoyed. House was super clean, nicely decorated and perfect for some time at the lake. This was our first trip to Michigan and we will for sure be back. We enjoyed swimming, fishing and taking the paddle boat out for a spin. Great value all around."

"I spent Memorial Day weekend here with my wife 4 kids and our English bulldog. My mom came for an evening there was ample sleeping space for all of us.From the private drive onto the lake and up to the lake house the stress from everyday live starts to leave and the peace of what matters starts to enter.Our time was well spent enjoying the lake with the kayaks and paddle boat. We caught plenty of bass small mouth and a couple pike. The beach was great for our children along with the yard space to set up a couple games we brought.We enjoyed ice cream in Howard city just a few minutes away with a relaxing drive. There’s plenty of grocery and food options nearby.The cottage was nicely stocked with linens, bedding everything you would need to grill relax and enjoy the simple things in life are here.The hosts were great and very accommodating. This is a gem of a stay.We will certainly be back."

"You wouldn't imagine this little place packs all the class when you pull up. Step through the doors and be amazed!This immaculate little retreat, nestled in the middle of Michigan is a must stay if in the area if you're a water person, fisherman, boater or seeking the prefect getaway. The Grandpas cottage with Grandmas touch with a modem touch. Fishing for early May was slow but the weather was cool and gloomy. But a day "fishing" here was better than a day in the office and the river and home views were very cool. .A must stay if the area. Stop in town for the forgotten items.Will stay again if I am in the area."
