"The hotel was clean, the breakfast was good, and the room was comfortable. Somehow my ID was left at the front desk during check in, they called the next night to tell me they had it, but I was already home 2 hours away. I figured they’d mail it the next day, but it wasn’t mailed out until the 5th day after I checked out. Not sure what the hold up was. What I originally thought would be no big deal has me stressed now nearly a week later without my ID."

"Wild Ivy Cottage is an absolute gem! We stayed there with our daughters and their husbands who had come in from out of state for a family get together at Raccoon Lake. It was clean, comfortable and so spacious. It's hard to have all six of us under one roof so we loved the big, well-equipped, kitchen and open concept of the main floor. (I saw some reviews about needing baking pans but we found some in the bottom drawer of the range). Everything was in excellent working order and the beds were comfortable. The spiral staircase is indeed tight but we quickly found gates to block access if anyone is concerned about that. There was a small glitch in the reservation process - we had our daughter's dog with us and the booking did not add the extra cleaning fee (note: this is a normal charge at other pet-friendly* rentals we've stayed at). Trying to correct that caused some other problems but the host promptly and diligently worked to correct them. He was very professional and polite. We would definitely stay there again.(*Some rentals smell pet-friendly - Wild Ivy Cottage does not, that was one of the first things I noticed.)"

"If you are looking for a fancy property, this isn't it. What it is, is a nice cozy cabin. Our family loves it. It has a great big deck, that is good for enjoying a cup of coffee and viewing the scenery. The living room, dining area, and kitchen is perfect for a small family. The kids love the bunk bed room. They said it's the best sleep they have ever had. The queen size bed hurt my back, but that could just be me. The coffee maker does take a while to brew, so if you don't want to wait you can go to Rockville or Billie Creek Village. This is cabin is nice and peaceful. We had use of a washer and dryer, and the TV had Roku so the kids could watch their shows. The owner Don is very responsive. If there is any issues you can reach out to them. We love it here and will be back again."

"Please print the property guide out and put a copy of your checkout rules on the wall or leave it on the table to make it easier for us to know what your expectations are. It was hard for me to get messages and find the link for the property guide while we were out there. I ended up with about five different emails to look through to find which one had the link, then on one link it did not work. I don’t want to use QR CODES and my phone for a policy guide. I’m trying to get AWAY from technology out there. The location was awesome and we absolutely LOVED the hammock and the fire pit! Thank you!"
