It's definitely a cosmopolitan hotel; I heard at least 5 different languages spoken among the guests while we were there. Turin itself is beautiful and this hotel is a wonderful place to stay if you like a classic place filled with antiques. Overall, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. But, there were good and some not-so-good things.
The good:
The common areas are charming. The garden is beautiful and so is the outdoor patio with lots of cozy seating.
What really makes this place worth it is the spa and the breakfast. The spa staff was above and beyond helpful.
The staff in general were very professional, friendly, and welcoming. They speak multiple languages very well and it was helpful when I could switch from Italian to English as I'm still in the beginner stages of speaking Italian.
The not-so-good:
The heat was turned all the way up and it was suffocating in our suite. I had to sleep with the balcony doors open and woke up to mosquito bites. In addition, I requested the option to reserve online and pay in person and that request was not honored. It significantly complicated my situation and I was not pleased at all.
It would have been nice to find staff during the breakfast hours to request something other than drip coffee and tea. The staff was nowhere to be seen and they did not make themselves visible while we were dining (around 7:40 am).
Some things are a bit dated and could use some refurbishing (like the ancient elevator).
