The wonderful city of Turin, capital of Piedmont and known for its chocolate, offers countless opportunities and experiences. The city is known for its refined architecture, in fact there are sumptuous Baroque buildings to admire overlooking Turin’s squares, like Piazza Castello and Piazza San Carlo. In the old town stands the Mole Antonelliana, one of the symbols of Italy, with the Royal Palace of Turin and Madama Palace. Turin offers attractions for every taste, from outdoor activities to gastronomy. For a walk in the greenery breathing the scent of flowers, guests can enjoy the Turin Botanical Garden located on the left side of the Po river, and the famous Valentino Park near the old town. Today the province is considered the best Italian center as regards chocolate processing, and every year the “Cioccolatò” event is inaugurated with parties, events and tastings. For a tasting of typical Piemontese dishes, do not miss Solferino and Consorzio restaurants.
Turin Caselle airport is just 20 km from the apartment, while Turin Porta Nuova station is located only 650 m away.

Great location. The Madama Cristina market was going on in the piazza every day we were there (meat, vegetables, fish, art, you name it, they sell it) and the neighborhood is lively and has lots of restaurants and bars. The apartment itself is nice and quiet and the bed is very comfortable. The blinds in the bedroom didn't work when we arrived and they sent someone to repair it within a few hours. It's a very comfortable apartment with a very responsive host. We were a bit dismayed to find the elevator didn't go to the exact floor but it turned out to be no problem. It went to the 6th floor and you walk down a short half flight of stairs to the 5th floor. Or you can go to the 5th floor and walk up a half flight. Easy access from the train station. The bus 67 from the front of the train station stops a block away at the Pellico stop. We loved our stay at Casa Ester.
