Royal Inn Concert Stay

The Hotel/Motel facility was exactly what we expected it to be for the price and location. It was only for one night, so we made the best of it. It was old and outdated, but we wasn't surprised. This hotel still uses keys. no extras like ironing boards or irons. The only thing that we had a problem with was that the room had knats everywhere. And it had a huge hole in the ceiling over the bath tub. Thank God that it wasn't anymore bugs. But the knats took over, but around maybe 1am, we didn't see anymore, but by 9am, all of them gave back. Luckily it was time to checkout.

Great Stay On A Budget

Great motel in a great area for a quick, last minute trip to Tunica. Very clean place with friendly staff. Definitely worth the $55

The staff were nice. The venue was so-so: the furniture was old but clean, and the room had the requisite clean bed, shower, coffee pot, etc. Oddly, there was no phone in the room but that's not a big thing these days. Only real complaint: the bed was really uncomfortable.

Bad management

Reservation got confused and could not communicate with hotel staff. Yelled at me and could not speak English. Roaches in one room and did not even want to give us clean towels. Desperately needs remodeling. Only good thing was location near the coliseum.

Not so good out dated the Inn need to update the place the shower covered in paint the room was very dingy cricket and nettle all over the room

Bs slots okay room.

The room was really clean but i think the no fridge thing is some money saving bs. Covid 19 ? U have access to soap and water in your foom to wash your hands after touching the fridge door which is better than the hand sanitizer provided when touching those machines that 1000's of people touch everyday.Other than that the stay was awesome.

No air equals no sleep

The air conditioning barely cooled in the first run we were assigned. The dead bolt lock would not work at all. They assigned us to another room. The air conditioning in that room did not work at all. There only option was to go back to the first room. Needless to say... We burnt up all night.

I cancelled the booking less than 24 hours after I made it and received an email that I would not be charged sine I booked and cancelled a week in advance and then on the day it was originally reserved was charged for the rooms!! I called Expedia and the hotel and was hung up on by both of them. I am now waiting to get this resolved through my bank.

I will say nothing was "wrong" at this hotel. It is exactly what you would expect for a bottom dollar, need a bed, gotta stay somewhere kind of place. I do not recommend it, but I would not tell anyone NOT to go there. I was just fine for the inexpensive price I paid. The staff was nice and willing to chat/help/offer service. Room felt secure, our items were not "messed" with, and the shower water was hot! That is exactly what I wanted, and did not have to pay much. Sometimes, I just want a bed for cheap, this is it.

Most uncomfortable beds ive ever slept in, room was not very clean, ask to pay for upgrade to a king room was denied, barking dogs next room, although wasn't intolerable, had 4 deep scratches on leg,armand side from the springs in mattresses, ants everywhere, bed covers smelled unwashed had to purchase our own, deadbolts didn't work, and to top it off got food poisoning from checkers i was sick throwing up all weekend never got to leave room until checkout on Sunday so honestly the worst trip I ever had in my life will not reccomend this hotel or the area for that matter to anyone not even my worst enemy!!!!! O and the table was broken lamps didn't work!!!!

So to start off I had to wait 15 minutes for the man to check me in then he charged me twice on my card then told me that he didn't know when the money would be back on my card but it would eventually be on there I get to the room the heater does not work and it was only 32 degrees today I simply asked him if I could exchange my room and he got very rude and said what was so wrong with the room can you not go without heat after he exchanged me twice because they toilet was messed up in my other room we finally get in a room that is decent but the beds were horrible we ended up making pallets that slept better than the beds this was the worst experience of my life going to a hotel it also States that they have breakfast included water down coffee and very old cornflakes is not a breakfast to me this was the only thing that they had to offer I would never advise anyone to ever go to this hotel

The site said there were no pets allowed and we witnessed 3 guests with dogs and the people running the place had at least one dog barking in the back office the man had to go in a tell to be quiet. I am an animal lover and I have a couple animals myself, but this is something that would be great to know if you have allergies , etc. The carpets and the loveseat in the room were stained and sticky and overall disgusting. Also, when I booked the room, the site said there weren’t any smoking rooms available, therefore we booked a non smoking room and simply stepped outside to smoke. So upon CHECK OUT, the lady at the front desk threatened to charge us $50 because we were smoking OUTSIDE and it was possible the room would smell like smoke because of our belongings, NOT because we smoked in the room! I have stayed a lot of hotels in my life and I’ve never heard of such a thing nor was this written anywhere as being a rule! She was absolutely rude and I would NOT recommend this dump to anyone!
