He knows all the best spots to go and has access to some of the best restaurants on the island. On top of this the hotel was modern, clean and the restaurants food was incredible. "Was a great stay. Breakfast on the street is great, rooms spacious and in a cave, very cool. The only resort that I stayed in Vietnam that had hot water.

"Everything was professionally done from the welcome center/waiting area, boat that takes you to yacht, luggages waiting at your room. Boat is impressive one year new. Food was excellent, opinion from a Vietnamese ex-pat. Pho was delicious. Staff was very responsive. Two excursions were excellent. Most luxurious boat @ Halong Bay"
"Rooms were filthy and smelly. There was half an inch of dust on the hanging lamp which was cleaned after mentioning it to the receptionist. Room service worker threw our blanket on the floor. Not a very welcoming atmosphere. "
