About this property

Casa Natik - A Mayan House in the Jungle. Ideal for families and ecotourism

  • Casa Natik is a seven-year-old house with a unique design that offers a one-of-a-kind experience in the beautiful Mayan jungle, surrounded by cenotes, nature, and the songs of birds and frogs.
    Natik—which means “our home” in Tzeltal, one of the many Mayan languages native to Chiapas—. I decided to build this high-ceilinged palapa-style house here because I love the area: Xcacel Beach (a protected turtle reserve), the community of Chemuyil, and the history of Tulum and Mayan culture.

    This house is very spacious, with ceilings in the common area reaching 10 metres high. There are fans throughout the house, air conditioning, and a yoga area (tapanco) overlooking the jungle.
