"Let’s start with the good. The resort is gorgeous and in a perfect location. However, customer service was terrible, and that is being kind. Every time we interacted with the staff they acted like we were inconveniencing them. They were not helpful in any way. We expected much better from the level of resort it was and the price we paid. In addition we were not aware that the resort does not serve alcohol. Not a big deal but would have been nice to know ahead of time as the website does not readily mention it. Also the rooms do not have TVs in them."

"We arrived a day late due to the timing of our flight and the water taxi times. When we arrived our room was not ready although it was the next day. They first stated that they had given the room to someone else but then they apologized and said it was actually available but not clean yet. When they did give us the room we noticed the balcony door didn’t have a key to lock it. Reception stated they didn’t have a key for it. I requested a different room because it looked like there was a possibility someone getting in from the balcony. It also had no outlets to plug our devices. They did accommodate and were nice about moving us to another room. But this hotel is very outdated. They do not come clean daily. Their floor mats in the restroom are old and dirty. The bathroom is not clean or have towel racks or anywhere to put your shampoo or shower items. We got placed on the third floor the second time and there is no elevator, the stairs are uneven and with very high steps. We carried our own luggage up the three flights of stairs. I don’t usually like to give bad reviews but I don’t want anyone else to get high expectations from this place."

"This place is more than a place to sleep, they truly elevate your experience. From communication before we arrived through check in and the whole stay to check out. We arrived on our shuttle that was booked through the resort to a table seaside to enjoy our choice of a fresh natural juice or their signature rum punch. Guest services then set us up with our rental for a golf cart and checked us into our room by taking our bags up and walking us through the place. full five star service. The room was spacious. We were right on the water two bedrooms two bath lots of space to spread out and really enjoy ourselves. Loved the breakfast every morning. You had a nice options of huevos rancheros eggs, bacon, French toast, pancakes, even oatmeal with lots of fresh fruit. Everything was super smooth from check-in to check out and the place was nice and quiet so if you’re looking for a nice quiet place to relax and unwind every night this is it. I will note that it is a bit of a drive from town so you will have to take that into account but we loved it very peaceful and great restaurant options are with in short drive."
