We had a wonderful stay at the Fairmont. Staff was attentive and efficient, room was comfortable, and the vibe was great. Highly recommend.

A little noisy location

The staff was amazing. We came in on Sunday, April 26 and the two women who greeted us at the front desk that night were phenomenal. So sorry that their name is slipping my mind. My mom was celebrating her 80th Birthday and the front desk staff sent her desserts and were super accommodating with all our requests. All the gentlemen at the valet from April 26-27 were great! One older gentleman working valet on the morning of April 27 was a huge help with things to see and directions. He took time to trace the directions with me. Our hotel stay was overall nice and the lobby had an old Hollywood charm. However, it more so felt like a 3.5 to 4-star hotel. The room was very clean, but it was compact. We had to ask for a lot of things and the halls and the room itself looked old and weathered. The fixtures were a bit older and just not what we were expecting from a 5-star hotel. What made it 5-star was the minibar filled with expensive items, the fees, expensive valet, and its location. We had to ask for luggage racks. There wasn’t a refrigerator to store stuff and there was no way I was taking stuff out for fear of being charged. Minus these things, the staff made this place what it was during our stay.
