If you're looking for a quieter hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the Strip, the Ahern is a great alternative. It's only a few minutes from everything, but once you arrive, it feels like you're in a completely different part of the city.
We reserved one of the suites, and it was fabulous! I especially loved the floor-to-ceiling windows with the soft pink tint. They gave the room such a relaxing, soothing feel. The furniture and overall design of the suite were also really well done.
My only complaint was the bed. It was extremely firm and, unfortunately, very uncomfortable. I felt like I was fighting with it all night and honestly didn't sleep a wink. A good mattress pad or topper would have made such a difference and probably made the stay nearly perfect.
Aside from the bed, we had a great experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I would definitely stay at the Ahern again. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that they improve the mattress comfort because, for me, that was really the only flaw in an otherwise wonderful hotel.

"Good location on the main road about 5 mins drive from the end of valley. The views are what sold it for us. Parking is outside of reception. All of the accommodation is less than a minute walk from there. Rather basic cabins which was ok for what we needed but thats about it. Very nice and helpful ..."
