Great stay outside Vanersborg!

Nice surroundings with outdoor area of Halleberg and Hunneberg very close. Rooms quite with very nice beds. Breakfast top of the top. Great calue for money stay. We will be back for sure.

A peaceful oasis between old industry and farmland

Our hostess greeted us warmly, and we felt immediately at home! The room was very nice with two comfortable chairs (very rare these days!!). The bathroom was spacious and as clean as a whistle! The beds and pillows were great - we had a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was good and the coffee was great!! We definitely recommend this hotel!

Nice and warm place

Room was very hot when I arrived but luckily it was March so I could open the window. Personnel was very nice throughout the stay. Place is beautiful and I guess it is at its best during summer. They did not have kitchen during my stay, possibly due to only few guests. However they still arranged some food for me, but it was possibly frozen and re-heated portion. Food wasn't that great to be honest.

Very bad cleaning

During a stay of five nights, we never managed to get the room cleaned, despite the fact that we went down to the reception every night and morning to complain about the shortcomings, but nothing happened until the last day when a superficial cleaning took place

Trevligt men kan steppa upp hundvänligheten

Det står det är husdjursvänligt och ja vi fick ha med hunden på rummet. Dock erbjöds inget ställe inomhus att kunna äta frukost med hunden. Alternativt blir då att lämna en orolig hund skällandes/ylandes/pipandes på rummet och störa andra. Hade varit rimligt som husdjursvänligt hotell att det fanns ngt rum hundägare kunde äta frukost förutom utomhus i regnet….

Fantastiskt boende

Väldigt prisvärt boende. Fin miljö, bra service och sköna sängar. Relaxavdelning med bastu och bubbelpool ingick i priset och var väldigt trevligt. Fantastisk frukost. Det enda vi saknade var någon typ av aktivitet såsom biljardbord, discgolf eller shuffleboard.

Nydelig beliggenhet med oppussingspotensiale

Et nydelig sted med så mange muligheter til å finne en liten oase av avslapning. Rommene kunne med fordel vært pusset opp da de var relativt slitne. Dessverre gjør beliggenheten for noen av bygningene at det er relativt mye støy fra trafikken fra hovedveien, noe som er sjenerende på nattestid.

Bodde i 602. Minst 25C på rummet säkert nästan 30. Ingen AC, ingen fläkt. Fick en liten skrivbordsfläkt i receptionen, dvs man kunde befinna sig i fläktens riktning utan att svettas som en stucken gris. Mycket sköna sängar, rummet rent, fräscht badrum och dusch. Hur kan man ha så varmt på ett rum utan att göra en omedelbar handlingsplan på ett hotell? Helt sjukt 😂

Idyllisk

Idyllisk herregård. Fantastisk betjening. Stille og rolig område. Men sendte en melding ca en måned før innsjekk at jeg ikke ønsker dusjforheng. Rommet mitt hadde dusjforheng. En stor skuffelse. Betjeningen hadde et nytt rom med dusjkabinett, men der var mindre og midt i solsteken i andre etasje. Jeg takket nei. Der var ingen aircondition på rommet . Ute var der ca 30 grader. Stedet er nydelig men det trengs en skikkelig oppgradering. Ellers var betjeningen super!

Vacker och fin anläggning, men saknades kylskåp i vårt fina rum. Lite sommar skavanker, sommarpersonalen hade fått dålig introduktion. Gymmet var inte öppet. Efter vi blev insläppta var det ingen ventilation eller belysning. Middagen var superb. Tyvärr ingen laddnings möjlighet.

Fina rum men dålig relax

Fint mottagande av alla. Rummet mycket trevligt välstädat och sängarna jättesköna. Frukosten bra, som en ordinarie hotell frukost med ett stort plus att allt kött var markerat med nöt, gris, kyckling. Det som drar ner betyget är relaxen. Den var fin men inga handdukar på plats och ingen information om att man skulle ta med från rummet. Inte heller information om att man måste säga till om att bastun skulle startas När vi ifrågasatt detta fick vi svaret: -Trodde ingen ville basta eftersom det var varmt ute !!!??? Att jacuzzin dessutom enbart höll 36 grader (enligt personalen var det helt korrekt) gjorde inte saken bättre.

Lidt skuffende oplevelse af en “herregård”

Værelset var stort og rummeligt. Møblerne var lidt slidte, men lænestolene var dog gode at sidde i. Værelset trængte til vedligeholdelse med maling af vinduer, døre mm. Værelset var beliggende i et lille hus lidt væk fra hovedhuset og det lignede en tidligere medarbejderbolig. Der var plastikhavestole ved hoveddøren, så det virkede noget simpelt for en “herregård”. Lidt blomsterkrukker og ordentlige havemøbler kunne have pyntet på huset. Restauranten havde 3 hovedretter på menukortet, og de blev ikke skiftet dagligt, så vi valgte 2. aften at køre ind til Vänersborg, selvom vi gerne ville have undgået at bevæge os. Morgenbuffeten var righoldig og udvalget var rigtigt fint…dejligt lyst lokale.
