Very clean and accommodated our every need

A good base for 1 night. Staff were pleasant at arrival. Room was quite tired looking but decent size for large family. Really good amenities - pool/pub/arcade room and a decent choice of food although unsurprisingly overpriced. Main restaurant area was very hot. Pool was on the chilly side and no lifeguard!! But the kids loved the slides and theming was good. Ok budget hotel 👍

Staff are excellent. 5 stars for each and every staff member we met and interacted with. The rooms are small and clean. The toilet is in a separate cubicle from the bathroom, so a little impractical to wash your hands if someone is using the bathroom. No sink in the toilet. The cold breakfast menu is really good with a nice variety of items. The breads were fresh and tasty. I wish they had a different variety of hot food though. It was scrambled eggs and bacon daily for 5 days. It was only one staff member working the busy breakfast schedule. Many times items were not replenished and guests had to wait. Perhaps the hotel should consider providing support staff for breakfast times. Overall, this is a lovely hotel.

Nice location, nice staff, good breakfast, clean.

Swimming pool was freezing-has been freezing both in summer and winter not child friendly at all my small kids were shivering, decorations in main areas were pretty, the dining manager Paul was brilliant. Food was very expensive- £100 for fish and chips, pizza, club sandwich and portion of fries. Breakfast buffet is quite good.
