Sunset Vista - Footsteps to the Beach & Pier!

New lower rate discounted $100 off per night makes this large, ocean view home with 4 beds just steps from the beach one of the best values in downtown. Sleeps 6 adults or up to 8 with two children 12 and under w/ 3 bedrooms plus a den & 3 bathrooms. Boasting both ocean & bay views of Trinidad Harbor and State Beach, this custom, contemporary home has vaulted ceilings, amazing artwork, and comfortable furnishings throughout. It is the perfect getaway for a large family gathering, 3 couples or a group of friends. This home is located in downtown Trinidad, and has the convenience of being located within a block to beaches and great Trinidad hiking trails.

Enter on lower level which has one bedroom with a queen bed and a full bathroom with shower. The upstairs includes living and dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms, a sun-room w/ a Queen futon bed and two more bathrooms. The upstairs living/dining room offers an open floor plan that makes for easy entertainment. Cozy up by the gas fireplace while sitting inside watching the seascape all around or watch a movie on the large flat-screen T.V. Grill dinner on the propane barbecue and enjoy cocktails on the deck. Watch the sunset over the ocean while dining outside at the bistro table and chairs. The main suite offers a king bed, private balcony and main bathroom with shower and large bathtub. All of the bedrooms and sun-room have ocean views. The 3rd bathroom is just across the hall from these bedrooms and has a great walk-in shower. Sunset Vista is filled with beautiful photographic art taken from around the world. Radiant floor heating keeps this house comfortably warm. Sunset Vista is only 500 feet from Trinidad Harbor, pier and beach. This is a "no shoe" house which keeps it in pristine condition. Onsite parking available for up to 4 vehicles.

Important Notes:

** Guest reserving home must be 25 years or older, be staying at the property the entire time and will be considered the responsible party for this booking.

** Upon completion of booking reservation guests will be required to sign a rental agreement agreeing to Trinidad Retreats rules and regulations.

** Sorry but this is not a pet friendly home, no exceptions.

Wonderful time

The house was perfect for our needs. We were in Trinidad for our son’s wedding and we had family events every day. We were really busy but it worked out great. Ryan and the staff at Trinidad Retreats couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating.

Amazing location!

The house is located on a beautiful hill with the most amazing views of the ocean. Wonderful access to walking paths and the beach. The house was very clean, and cozy. There are lots of stairs so if you have any mobility issues this may be an issue. The only negative was the bed located on the first floor was a bit lumpy - it may be time to replace it.

Lovely, large home with amazing view

The home was clean and very comfortable. The view was beautiful. We were close to hiking, beaches and restaurants. There was plenty of space to spread out, a cozy fireplace, books and games.

Winter Trinidad Trip

Overall, we had a great experience. You were very responsive when we had questions about how to operate the fireplace and you responded quickly when the smoke detector needed a new battery. More coffee mugs are needed in the kitchen and if this place were mine, I would get rid of the tired wicker furniture in the master bedroom. The recliner in the living room has a handle sticking out from the cushion that caught a couple of us by surprise. The ocean views are wonderful and the location in town was great!

Beautiful, relaxing in perfect location wuth phenomenal views

Love the amenities, the views are unsurpassed, great outdoor deck areas facing the ocean, supreme location awesome showers, good towels, lots of light, well maintained and super speedy replies to questions we had. Would have liked hangers, fans and a place to sit outside in front of house, as the beachside if the house is a busy street and if you have windows open, you hear cars until 10 pm, as on the west side of house faces the only street to Trinidad State Beach, which us pipular. But close the windows, no problem, which is why fans would be helpful. Would we stay again? Yes.

Our stay at this beachfront home in Trinidad, CA, was absolutely wonderful. The house itself is beautiful—spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully maintained. The layout made it perfect for relaxing and enjoying the serene surroundings, and every room felt comfortable and welcoming.The location is simply unbeatable. Being right on the beach meant we could take in the stunning ocean views from sunrise to sunset, with the sound of the waves as a constant, peaceful backdrop. It truly felt like a private slice of paradise.We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would happily return. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing coastal getaway.
