About this property

Redwoods National Park - Stone Lagoon Cabin, Beaches & Lagoons

  • Nature lovers look no further! Stone Lagoon Cabin is your premier gateway for Redwood National and State Parks! Nestled in among Humboldt Lagoons State Park - the "Jewels" of the majestic Northern California Coast. The cabin is a mere 1.5 miles to Dry Lagoon Beach from the Cabin! Nearby Humboldt Lagoons and their plethora of beaches, run smack dab right in to the trails of Redwood National and State Parks.

Stone Lagoon Cabin was originally a Logger Cabin, dating back to the 1940s. It has since been updated by the property owners and truly is the essence of rugged luxury, and there you will truly find a rustic charm with highly elevated modern comforts. The interior woodwork and craftsmanship will have you looking forward to returning home after a long day exploring Humboldt County.

This charming loggers cabin offers an inviting retreat after a day of exploring—relax by the wood stove in the living room or your comfortable bed, enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, and gather around the dining table for meals or board games. Step outside and soak in the surroundings of your own private meadow surrounded by old growth Maple Trees. Take advantage of the unbeatable location halfway between Orick and Trinidad, where world-class hiking, fishing, kayaking, and water sports are right at your doorstep! Whether you're out exploring trails, paddling across one of the nearby lagoons, or simply soaking in the peaceful surroundings, this welcoming cabin provides the perfect home base for your North Coast adventures.

    Spring 2026 reviews:
Magical setting. We loved the 360 view from inside of the cabin. We come from a state where water is scarce, Colorado. The green is everywhere ~ just lovely.

I was able to cross off a bucket list adventure with my Mom & Dad. We made memories that will live in my heart forever.
