About this property

Stylish design Apartment

  • Stylish design studio with Altbaucharme, parquet flooring, high stucco ceilings, open sandstone wall and green courtyard. Fully equipped kitchen, luxurious bathroom, King Room, Wireless Internet, LED TV, workspace, private terrace with seating.

    We have renovated our house for a long time lovingly and we now open for guests. The design studios are located in a beautiful courtyard and donate peace and privacy. That's why we give our apartments called "The Backyard".

    Our house is a few hundred meters from the Roman monuments Porta Nigra gate to the pedestrian area and the Moselle with the Romanesque old fishing district Zurlauben. The Merianstrasse is a quiet residential street with many monument protected buildings from the turn of the century 19/20. Century. From here guests can explore the city on foot and visit the many beautiful gastronomy.

Mit The Backyard haben Norah und ihr Mann eine zauberhafte, charmante Oase in Trier geschaffen, die zudem recht zentral gelegen ist. Spaziergänge an die Mosel und in die Altstadt sind ohne Probleme möglich. Und das Entspannen im Appartement (oder auf der Terrasse davor) macht das liebevoll gestaltete Umfeld zu einer wunderschönen Auszeit. Zudem ist die Gastgeberin des Hinterhof Paradieses ist ein Schatz. Wir Mädels haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Einfach nur schön!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Trier und vor allem in diesem Apartment genossen. Vor der Anreise erhielten wir detaillierte Infos, sogar das Thema Parken wurde völlig unkompliziert gelöst. Wahlweise eine Garage im Nachbarhaus oder die Vermieterin besorgt das benötigte Ticket zum Anwohnerparken. Die Unterkunft befindet sich keine 10 Gehminuten von der Porta Nigra entfernt in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet. Das Apartment betritt man schlüssellos mit Zugangscode, perfekt gelöst. Wenn man den Innenhof vor dem Apartment betritt offenbart sich ein kleines Paradies. Der Innenhof ist sehr hübsch gestaltet, was Bepflanzung und Dekoration angeht. Vor dem Apartment hat man eine kleine Holzterrasse mit Tisch und zwei Stühlen und bezauberndem Blick auf den Innenhof. Wenn man die Apartmenttür öffnet steht man direkt in der Küche, die mit allem ausgestattet ist, so dass man richtig kochen kann. Es stehen 2 Kochplatten zur Verfügung, wir fanden das komplett ausreichend. Diverse Frühstückszutaten wie Kaffee, Butter, Marmelade, Wurst, Käse etc. sind ebenfalls vorhanden. In dem angrenzenden Zimmer gibt es einen Esstisch, TV, Kommode, Kleiderschrank und ein großes Boxspringbett, alles sehr hochwertig, stylisch und passend eingerichtet. Ebenso im Bad mit ebenerdiger großer Dusche. Alles in allem eine top Unterkunft nach unserem Geschmack. Wir kommen im Dezember wieder und freuen uns schon jetzt.

Tolles Appartement in perfekter Lage

Mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Man dünkt sich sofort heimisch und sehr wohl. Großartige Vermieter, die mit im Gebäude wohnen. Die Lage des Apartments war für unsere Bedürfnisse perfekt. Ruhig gelegen und doch sehr zentral. Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Perfect appartment

Very clean, very nice and complete appartment. The communication was quick, friendly and helpful. The location of the appartment was the best, you're close to the city but even then it was very quiet in the garden and in the one-way street. Could park the car every day within reach of the front door with great ease. If you want to go to Trier, this is the place to go :-)

Wir können uns den bisherigen sehr guten Beurteilungen nur anschließen. Liebevolle Detailplanung für Leib und Seele. Nach einem Sturz mit folgender Gehbehinderung erfuhr ich große Fürsorge der Gastgeberin: Gehhilfen, mehrfach Eisbeutel zur Kühlung meines stark geschwollenen Knies u. immer wieder Nachfrage nach Wünschen u. Befinden. Eine Adresse, auf die man gerne zurückkommt.

Traumhafte Ferienwohnung

Die Ferienwohnung ist mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Sowohl das super moderne Bad, mit toller Dusche, als auch die niedliche kleine Terrasse mit Blick auf einen wunderschön und super gepflegten Innenhof-Garten garantieren den Wohlfühlfaktor. Uns hat es an absolut nichts gefehlt, denn die Wohnung ist bestens ausgestattet. Wir kamen an und fühlten uns gleich wohl und willkommen, denn die freundliche und sehr nette Vermieterin hatte sowohl eine Willkommensnachricht als auch einen kleinen, erfrischenden Willkommengruss für uns deponiert. Check-In und Check-Out total unkomplizert. Die Lage der Wohnung perfekt, denn sowohl die Altstadt als auch die Mosel ist in wenigen Minuten fussläufig erreichbar. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Where to start... the flat is beautiful, the landlady is extremely helpful, she made out stay just perfect, you can simply go down the basement and get wine, snacks, there is a small gym even, the flat contains everything one needs, the furniture and decorations just absolutely fit, and I could go on and on. Strong recommendation to book it, next time we will stay at least a week. Absolutely marvelous.

Wir wurden auf das herzlichste in Trier von unserer Gastgeberin empfangen. Das Appartement war sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es hat war alles vorhanden sogar der Kühlschrank war für das erste Frühstück gefüllt. Danke, Danke! Sehr schön ist die Lage der Wohnung. Wir haben alles zu Fuß erledigt - besichtigt. Das Apartment ist sehr stylisch eingerichtet und liegt in einer verkehrsruhigen aber Innenstadt-nahen Straße. Sowohl Porta Nigra als auch die Mosel sind zu Fuß sehr schnell erreicht. Die Ausstattung ist überdurchschnittlich gut und gerade bei so Dingen wie dem Frühstücks-Starterpaket sehr gedankenvoll und aufmerksam zusammengestellt. Dazu gibt es kurz vor Ankunft hilfreiche Informationen zur Anreise und auch schöne Empfehlungen für Cafés und Restaurants. Bei Rückfragen bekamen wir sehr reaktionsschnell Antworten von Frau Frank und so haben wir uns von Anfang an total wohl gefühlt und hatten ein schönes Wochenende in Trier. Absolut empfehlenswert! :-)

Hidden Gem in the Heart of Trier

This place is just as beautiful as the pictures and Andrea is an amazing host! We had a lovely stay here. The space had been beautifully renovated so that you had a sense of living in a historic building with all modern comforts. The bed is extremely comfortable and it's very quiet at night. The bathroom is gorgeous with an extremely large shower. You are a close walk to downtown Trier, yet tucked away. This place feels very special and I could not recommend it more.

Superunterkunft für einen Kurztrip

Der Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft ist optimal. Nur 3 Fussminuten zur Mosel, 5 Minuten zur "Schwarzen Pforte" (PortaNigra) und nur 3 Minuten zur Klinik der Barmherzigen Brüder, die wir in Anspruch nehmen mussten. Bei längerem Aufenthalt als ein Kurztrip empfehlen wir allerdings in der Wohnung 1 eine kleine gemütliche Rundecke mit Rückenlehnen, da leider nur in der Fensternische und am Tisch jeweils eine Holzbank mit Kissenauflagen zur Verfügung stand.
