"After a very long drive we arrived in this lovely oasis in the middle of nowhere. The owners did an amazing job at turning this 500 year old house into a warm and homely place. Hamish and Tara, the easy-going owners, made us feel welcome and were always ready with tips or advice about the local area, including a great tip on a local winery. "The drive out into the countryside is well worth the effort. We stayed in the two bedroom gite and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. "The property did not live up to expectations. Cleanliness was not up to standard by quite a long way. Kitchen equipment was rather poor and overall the kitchen fittings and appliances were somewhat tired. The garden felt rather neglected.
