Great place to stay near boothbay

My dad and I stayed here four nights. It's rather small, but it has pretty much everything you need. The outside shower is enjoyable. The bathroom door has a ~5" gap to the floor, so you don't get much privacy from the main area. The upstairs bed is comfy and very wide. The owners are friendly and quick to respond to messages. Apart from boothbay harbor, consider visiting the botanical gardens which are pretty close to this cottage.

Understated comfort and hospitality

This little cottage exceeded our expectations. From the carefully prepared outdoor space to the indoor space the thoughtfulness and care that the hosts prepare the cottage with can be felt.

It had a camping feel with a real bed and air conditioning. It was a rainy couple days but we were dry and could still enjoy the rain in the woods sounds

Best little cottage!

Such a cute place! We loved it. Watching the deer come out every morning was a plus. So close to everything but very private. Will definatly return!

Lovely place

Really enjoyed the space! Only issue is the hot water is extremely limited for the shower, 5 mins max. Also the bed upstairs could use a bed connector, right now it's easy to fall in between the mattresses.

R & R retreat perfection

A little slice of perfection amongst bustling Boothbay Harbor area. Terri and Jim are warm and welcoming hosts. They have set up their cabin to have every comfort of home. Our motto for this vacation was “one more day” we were loathe to leave the tranquility of our barters Island getaway. We did enjoy several attractions in the area Botanical garden and village railway museum, as well as some local eateries. Overall a top notch stay. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Great little cottage on Barter’s Island

Great location, quiet new cottage. Lovely owners. Yes, the shower is outside, but it’s private and there’s hot water. Large and comfortable bed, upstairs. New range, fridge, microwave, and a BBQ. There’s a wood burning stove inside if it gets cold and you know how to use it. Also, a window A/C upstairs, just in case. The weather was great during our stay. Overall, great location, comfortable, good price. Not to be missed: Coastal Main Botanical Garden; Pizza and beer at Watershed Tavern.
